المستخلص: إن هذا البحث الذي بين أيدينا يبين حقيقة الهدف العلمي للاستشراق، وأنه واحدا من الدوافع الرئيسية التي دفعت بعض المستشرقين إلى دراسة علوم الشرق لأهداف علمية خالصة لا يقصد منها إلا البحث والتمحيص، ودراسة التراث العربي والإسلامي دراسة تجلو لهم بعض الحقائق الخافية عنهم وهذا الصنف من المستشرقين قليل العدد إذا ما قورن بالمستشرقين الآخرين وأنهم قد امتازوا بالروح العلمية النزيهة والدقة في الأحكام العلمية والأنصاف فيها، ومن خلال معرفتنا لهذا الهدف الغائي المرتبط به، إلا وهو إشباع نهم علمي متجرد، وتحصيل معرفة صحيحة تتصل بأمه ذات علم، وحضارة أصلية، كما ضمنته أي بحثنا هذا الآثار التي ترتبت على الدافع العلمي للاستشراق، وأهم المستشرقون الذين انصفوا الشرق وأهله وما واجهوا من عقبات حيال ذلك. وأبرز رموزه ونتاجاتهم، وتبيان كيف أنهم أي أصحاب الدافع العلمي، كيف اقبلوا على الاستشراق بدافع حب الاستطلاع على حضارات الأمم وأديانها ولغاتها، ثم خاتمة أودعت فيها ما تم تسجيله من نتائج.

That this research which is in our hands shows the truth of the scientific goal of Orientalism, and that it is one of the main motives that pushed some orientalists to study the sciences of the East for purely scientific goals that are intended only for research and scrutiny. They are few in number when compared to other orientalists, and that they have been distinguished by the honest scientific spirit, accuracy in scientific judgments and fairness in them, and through our knowledge of this teleological goal associated with it, which is to satisfy an abstract scientific hunger, and to acquire true knowledge related to his mother with an original knowledge and civilization, as I guaranteed We discussed this effect on the scientific drive for Orientalism, the most important orientalists who did justice to the East and its people and the obstacles they faced in this regard. He highlighted its symbols and their findings, and showed how they, the owners of the scientific motive, how they embraced Orientalism out of a love of curiosity about the civilizations of nations, their religions and their languages, and then a conclusion in which the results that were recorded were deposited.
