المستخلص: موضوع البحث دراسة مرويات عمرو بن شعيب عن غير أبيه وجده، حيث لم تفرد بالبحث والدراسة، ويهدف البحث إلى التعريف بعمرو بن شعيب وأقوال المحدثين فيه، ثم دراسة مروياته عن غير أبيه وجده، وقد تكون البحث من مقدمة، وثلاثة مباحث، وخاتمة، تطرقت في المقدمة إلى مشكلة البحث، وأهميته، وأهدافه، والدراسات السابقة، والمنهج المتبع فيه المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، وتناولت في المبحث الأول: ترجمة عمرو بن شعيب، وحكم الاحتجاج بمروياته. والمبحث الثاني: تراجم شيوخ عمرو بن شعيب في السنن الأربعة. والمبحث الثالث: مرويات عمرو بن شعيب عن غير أبيه وجده في السنن الأربعة. وقد توصلت من خلال البحث إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: أن عمرو بن شعيب أحد رواة الحديث المشهورين واحتج بروايته أصحاب السنن الأربعة وغيرهم، وأن مرويات عمرو بن شعيب على قسمين: الأول منهما ما يرويه عن أبيه عن جده، وهي الأكثر، وفيها خلاف بين العلماء في سماعه من أبيه عن جده، والقسم الثاني: ما يرويه عن غير أبيه وجده، وهو قليل بالنسبة إلى القسم الأول، واحتج العلماء بروايته عن غير أبيه وجده إذا كان عن الثقات بلا خلاف حسب ما وقفت عليه من أقوال العلماء في ذلك.

The aim of this research is to study the narrations of 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb from other than his father from his grandfather, as it is a topic to which no prior work has been specifically devoted. The research first explains who 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb is, as well as what the scholars of hadeeth have said about him, and it next studies his narrations from other than his father from his grandfather. The research consists of an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The introduction outlines the topic being researched, its importance, its aims, prior related studies, and the fact that the current research employs an inductive analytic approach. The first section contains a biography of 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, and the position of the scholars regarding accepting his narrations. The second section contains biographies of those whom 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb narrated from in the Four Sunan collections. The third section contains the narrations of 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb from other than his father from his grandfather in the Four Sunan Collections. Among the most important outcomes of this research are: 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb is one of the recognized narrators of hadeeth, and his narrations are accepted by the compilers of the Four Sunan Collections as well as others. The narrations of 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb fall into two categories: one category is what he narrates from his father from his grandfather, which comprises the majority of them, and there is scholarly difference regarding whether he heard his father narrate from his grandfather; the other category is what he narrates from other than his father from his grandfather, and this is much smaller in comparison to the first category. The scholars accept his narrations from other than his father and his grandfather, so long as they are transmitted by narrators who are thiqah, and there is no contention about this according to the statements of the scholars that were found.
