المستخلص: تناول هذا البحث جمع آراء الإمام "سفيان الثوري" في علوم الحديث وتأصيلها ودراستها، وتكمن أهمية هذا البحث في أن منهج المتقدمين معروف بالتطبيق وقل لديهم التنظير خلافا للمتأخرين، ولهذا السبب صارت هناك ندرة نسبية في أقوال السلف التنظرية فيما يتعلق بعلوم الحديث فكان جمع هذه أقوال أمرا ضروريا لأن الاعتماد في تأصيل هذا العلم وتحديد معالمه -وتقعيد قواعده قامت على أقواله وأقوال غيره من المتقدمين. وقد اعتمدت في هذه الدراسة على المنهج الاستقرائي في جمع أقوال الإمام من بطون الكتب الأصلية المعتمدة في هذا العلم، ثم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لعرض آراء الإمام "الثوري" في علوم الحديث، فأتناول المسألة -التي له فيها رأي -ثم أعرض رأيه فيها مقارنا رأيه برأي الجمهور للوقوف على مدى الموافقة أو المخالفة، ذاكرا توجيهات الأئمة لآرائه التي يظن أنها مخالفة. وتوصلت من خلال هذه الدراسة إلى أن أقوال الإمام سفيان الثوري تتوافق مع مذهب الجمهور في معظم المسائل، بل واعتماد الجمهور على أقواله في تنظير مسائلهم، وتقعيد قواعدهم، فكانت أقواله هي المرجع والفيصل عند الاختلاف.

This research has handed the collection of Imam Sofyan Al Thawri In Hadith Sciences, their origins and their foundation. The importance of this research lies in the followers’ method that is known through practicing whereas theoretical one was less than or unlike the formers’ one. For this reason, there was a relative scarcity in the theoretical sayings of the formers concerning about Hadith Sciences. So, Collecting of these sayings was essential because relaying on this Science to be an origin one determining its features and marinating its rules are based on his sayings and others of the followers. In this study, I have relayed on the inductive method in collecting the Imam’s sayings through the original ideas of the books in the field of this science. Then, the descriptive and analyses method. in order to show The Imam (Al Thawri) In hadith opinions. So, I handed and took up the issue that shows his opinion. Then, I show this opinion comparing it with the majority one to know the agreement or disagreement. Through this showing, 1 mention the Imam’s instructions for his opinions that he thinks they are contrary for his. Through this Study, I have come up and understood that Al Imam Al Thawri’s sayings are compatible with the public’s ones in Most issues Rather than that the public relayed on his sayings in making their issues theoretical ones and making their rules as foundations. For this, his sayings were the reference and judgment at disagreement
