The history of Islam in Africa in general and in West Africa in particular was marked by religious leaders who made eminent service to the Muslim region in terms of its implementation, dissemination and expansion. Among these lies Sheikh Saad Bouh son of Sheikh Muhammad al-Fadil, founder and eponymous of the Brotherhood of Qadriya-Fadiliyya, unebranced of the Qadriya. Thanks to his personal actions, Sheikh Saad Bouh has been able to push the borders of Islam in many localities in Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, and Guinea Conakry where he has many faithful and representatives called "Sheikhs". L’histoire de l’Islam en Afrique en général et en Afrique de l’Ouest en particulier fut marquée par des chefs religieux qui ont rendu d’éminents services à la religion musulmane en ce qui concerne son implantation, sa diffusion et son expansion. Parmi ceux-là se trouve en bonne place Cheikh Saad Bouh fils de Cheikh Mouhammad al-Fadil, fondateur et éponyme de la confrérie Qadriya-Fadiliyya, une branche de la Qadriya. Grâce à ses efforts personnels, Cheikh Saad Bouh a pu repousser les frontières de la foi musulmane dans beaucoup de localités au Sénégal, en Gambie, en Guinée Bissau, en Guinée Conakry, au Mali où il compte des représentants appelés "Sheikhs" ou "Muqaddam". |
