المستخلص: يحمل البحث في طبيعة الهوية وتحولاتها لدى شباب الصحراء الأطلنتية جنوب المغرب، من خلال قياس بعض المؤشرات، على الحفر في دور عوامل التحديث التي طالت مجتمع الصحراء الأطلنتية، والتي يتوقع أن تسهم بشكل أو بأخر في إعادة تشكيل ملامح هوية الجيل الجديد. والدراسة التي خرجت من رحمها هذه الورقة البحثية التي أضعها أمام القراء، حاولت استكشاف تفسير شباب جهة العيون الساقية الحمراء للضوابط والخيارات التي يواجها مما سمح برؤية أعمق إلى حالات التوتر والتشويش التي يعيشها الشباب في هذه المنطقة بما يكشف عن نوع من خلخلة مرجعيات الهوية وتوازناتها لديه، إضافة إلى التناقض الصارخ بين المثال والواقع الذي يشير في حد ذاته إلى التوترات السوسيو-ثقافية التي عززتها التغيرات السريعة التي يعيشها جيل اليوم بجهة العيون الساقية الحمراء. في هذا السياق تعيد هذه الكلمات النظر في موضوع هويات الشباب، وتبحث في الطريقة التي تعرف فيها أو بالأحرى التي مازالت تخضع فيه لإعادة تعريف وتحول؛ إذ مازالت مطالبهم وطموحاتهم تلعب دورا أساسيا في رسم ملامح علاقاتهم بمحيطهم الاجتماعي والثقافي وبانتمائهم الوطني.

The research into the nature of identity and its transformations among the youth in the Atlantic desert in southern Morocco entails a deeper examination of the role of modernization factors that affected the society in this part of the country. These factors are in point of fact expected to contribute in one way or another to reshaping the traits of identity amongst the new generation. The current research paper is a result of a study that was principally conducted to explore the way young people of Laayoune Sakia El Hamra region interpret the regulations along with the choices that they face. This will allow a deeper insight into the state of tension and confusion which is experienced by young people in this region, which reveals a sort of disorder in terms of their identity backgrounds and balances. Not to mention the remarkable discrepancy between the ideal and the reality. This in itself refers to the socio-cultural tensions that have been reinforced by the swift changes that today’s generation is experiencing in the region of Laayoune Sakia El Hamra. In this framework, this study reconsiders the issue of youth identities as well as its implications and transformations with regard to these youngsters’ demands and aspirations that still play a fundamental role in shaping the aspects of their relations with their social and cultural milieu in addition to their belonging to the homeland.
