|a احتلت القضية الجزائرية مكانة هامة في العلاقات الفرنسية الإيطالية خلال الثورة التحريرية (1954- 1962)؛ حيث تأثرت هذه العلاقات على عدة مستويات منها: السياسية والاقتصادية والدبلوماسية، فبعدما كانت إيطاليا داعمة للموقف الفرنسي بشأن الثورة الجارية بالجزائر على أساس أنها مشكلة فرنسية داخلية شهد موقفها تغيرا خاصة بعد الأحداث التي صنعتها ثورة التحرير؛ كإضراب ثمانية أيام وقصف ساقية سيدي يوسف، ونشاط جبهة التحرير الوطني الدبلوماسي في الأمم المتحدة، فوقف الرأي العام الإيطالي موقف المساند للثورة على خلاف الموقف الرسمي للحكومة الإيطالية التي بقيت محافظة على مساندتها للأطروحة الفرنسية إلى غاية مفاوضات إيفيان الأخيرة واستقلال الجزائر.
|b The Algerian issue occupied an important place in Franco-Italian relations during the liberation revolution (1954-1962). As these relations were affected on several levels, including: political, economic and diplomatic. After Italy was supportive of the French position on the ongoing revolution in Algeria on the basis that it was an internal French problem, its position witnessed a change, especially after the events created by the liberation revolution, such as the eight-day strike and the bombing of Sidi Youssef's Sakiet, and the activity of the diplomatic National Liberation Front at the United Nations, Italian public opinion stood in support of the revolution, in contrast to the official position of the Italian government, which remained conservative in its support for the French thesis until the last negotiations of Evian and the independence of Algeria.
