هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد أثر الخلفية الثقافية والفكرية على تغير القيم الاجتماعية لدى المرأة، وتغير مراكزها الاجتماعية، وتغير مجالات تمكينها في المجتمع، وانعكاس ذلك على مكانة المرأة السعودية. ولتحقيق ذلك اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج المقارن، واستخدمت بطاقة تحليل المحتوى أداة لجمع البيانات، وتم تطبيق الدراسة على كتب وإعلاميات النخب الثقافية في الفترة التقليدية والفترة المتغيرة التي مر بها المجتمع السعودي، وتمت معالجة البيانات باستخدام الاختيارات الإحصائية: (التكرار، معدل النسبة المئوية). وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: أن تحليل المحتوى لكتب النخب الثقافية ومقالاتهم الإعلامية أثبتت أن الثقافة وبما تحتوي من عادات وتقاليد وأعراف كانت مؤثرة على المفاهيم المرتبطة بالقوامة، والاختلاط، والحجاب، وطبيعة المرأة الأنثوية، وموقعها بالنسبة للرجل، في الفترة التقليدية بشكل كبير على: (قيمة التعامل لإشراك المرأة في تنمية المجتمع، قيمة الاستقلال المادي، قيمة الحماية والأمان، تحسين مركز المرأة الاجتماعي، نوع وطبيعة مركز المرأة الاجتماعي، إضافة إلى مركز المرأة المبتكر، تمكين المرأة في مجال التعليم، تمكين المرأة في مجال العمل والتوظيف، إضافة إلى تمكينها في المجال القيادي)، في حين أن الفترة المتغيرة التي عاصرها المجتمع السعودي كانت أقل تأثيرا على هذه العوامل، مما يبرهن أن الخلفيات الثقافية الموجهة للقوامة، والاختلاط، والحجاب، وطبيعة المرأة الأنثوية، وموقعها بالنسبة للرجل، قد خفت حدتها، وأن قيود الأعراف والعادات والتقاليد خفت وطأتها، مما انعكس على تغير مكانة المرأة السعودية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات التي يمكن أن تساعد في تفعيل أثر النخب الثقافية؛ لارتفاع مكانة المرأة السعودية، أهمها: توصي الدراسة النخب الثقافية بضرورة التعرف على سمات وخصائص الفترة المتغيرة التي يعيشها المجتمع السعودي، لمفهوم القوامة نتيجة؛ لارتفاع مستوى الوعي لدى القيم، ولمفهوم الاختلاط نتيجة؛ استحداث الكثير من المجالات المختلطة بين الجنسين، ولمفهوم الحجاب؛ نتاج الانفتاح الثقافي، ولمفهوم طبيعة المرأة الأنثوية، للإيمان بقدراتها، في ظل العديد من القرارات والتعديلات التي رعيت بها لتتلاءم مع ظروفها وطبيعتها الأنثوية، ولمفهوم موقع المرأة بالنسبة للرجل، حيث سادت نظر المساواة بين الجنسين، فنجد أن المرأة اشتركت جنبا إلى جنب مع الرجل في المجالات المختلفة؛ نتاج العدل بين الجنسين في التنشئة الاجتماعية من ناحية، وظهور العديد من التعديلات التي استحدثت بشأنها من ناحية أخرى، بهدف مساواتها بأخيها الرجل.
The study aimed to determine the impact of the cultural and intellectual background on the change in social values of woman, the change in her social positions, the change in the areas of her empowerment in society; and its reflection on the status of Saudi woman. To achieve this, the study relied on the comparative approach, and used a content analysis card as a tool for data collection. The study was applied to books and female media figures of the cultural elites in the previous cultural period and the current changing period experienced by the Saudi society. The data was processed using statistical tests: (frequency, percentage rate). The study reached the following results: The content analysis of the books of the cultural elites and their media articles proved that the culture, with its customs and traditions related to the concepts associated to the relationship of woman to man, nature of feminine woman, and her position in relation to the man was influential on: woman’s social values, social positions, and the areas of her empowerment in society. It became clear that the most important topics discussed in the previous cultural period, which led to a significant rise in the status of Saudi woman, were: (The right of woman to receive appropriate treatment for her participation in the development of society, the right of woman to obtain financial independence, and the right of woman to determine the nature and type of her social status, in addition to the right of woman to obtain an innovative position, and the right of woman to be empowered in the fields of education, work, employment and leadership), while the changing period in the Saudi society was less influential in raising these topics. This proves that the books and articles of the previous cultural period were more influential in raising the status of Saudi woman. The study concluded with a set of recommendations that can help in activating the impact of cultural elites to raise the status of Saudi woman. The most important of them are: the necessity of emphasizing the topics that contribute to the rise of the status of Saudi woman and that the cultural elites have not addressed in the current changing period in terms of the cultural concept related to the relationship between woman and man and the concept of the position of woman in relation to man, as the study proved. And the need to raise topics that contribute to raising woman’s awareness of her rights and duties within society, specifically the new decisions that affect their social status, specifically with regard to the fields of her work, education, and other new areas in society.
