هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي في مواجهة أزمة كورونا، والتعرف على مدى أهمية دور أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر أعضاء الفريق الطبي، ومدى تعاون الفريق الطبي مع أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية، والتعرف على التحديات التي تواجه أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي أثناء التدخل في الأزمات. وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى نمط الدراسات الوصفية، واستخدم الباحث منهج المسح الاجتماعي لجمع البيانات من المبحوثين. وقام الباحث بإعداد استبانة وتطبيقها على عينة قوامها (108) مفردة من أخصائيين الخدمة الاجتماعية تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة من جميع الفئات من العاملين بالمجال الطبي في المؤسسات الصحية بمحافظة جدة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن أفراد عينة الدراسة موافقون على دور أخصائيين الخدمة الاجتماعية في التعامل مع المرضى المصابين بفيروس كورونا، حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لهذا الدور (3.4)، وكانت أهم ملامح هذا الدور هي تقديم الدعم النفسي والمعنوي والمادي لمصابي فايروس كورونا COVID-19. كما أظهرت النتائج موافقة أفراد عينة الدراسة على دور الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي في التعامل مع جائحة كورونا، حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لعبارات هذا الدور (4.6). وبالنسبة لأهمية دور أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر أعضاء الفريق الطبي الآخرين فقد حصل على متوسط حسابي (2.4)، أما بالنسبة لمدى تعاون الفريق الطبي مع أخصائيين الخدمة الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر أخصائيين الخدمة الاجتماعية فقد حصل على متوسط حسابي (3.3)، وفيما يتعلق بمدى التحديات التي تواجه أخصائي الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي أثناء التدخل في الأزمات فقد حصلت على متوسط حسابي قدره (3.2). وفي ضوء هذه النتائج تم صياغة بعض التوصيات، وكان أهمها: نشر ثقافة الوعي بجائحة كورونا وذلك من خلال الزيارات والمبادرات التي يقوم بها أخصائيو الخدمة الاجتماعية، وتفعيل دور وسائل الإعلام المختلفة بأهمية العمل الذي يقوم به أخصائيين الخدمة الاجتماعية بالمستشفيات، وتفعيل مشاركة المؤسسات المدنية في مواجهة جائحة كورونا.
This study aimed to identify the role of social work specialists in the medical field in the face of the Corona crisis, and to identify the extent of the importance of the role of social work specialist from the point of view of the members of the medical team, and the extent of the cooperation of the medical team with social work specialists, and to identify the challenges facing the social work specialist In the medical field during crisis intervention. This study belongs to the type of descriptive studies, and the researcher used the social survey method to collect data from the respondents. The researcher prepared a questionnaire and applied it to a sample of (108) individual social work specialists who were selected in a simple random way from all categories of medical workers in health institutions in Jeddah. The results of the study showed that the study sample members agreed on the role of social work specialists in dealing with patients infected with the Coronavirus, where the arithmetic average for this role was (3.4), and the most important features of this role were to provide psychological, moral and material support to those infected with the Coronavirus COVID-19. The results also showed the approval of the study sample members on the role of social work in the medical field in dealing with the Corona pandemic, where the arithmetic mean of the terms of this role was (4.6). With regard to the importance of the role of the social work specialist from the point of view of the other members of the medical team, it obtained an arithmetic average (2.4), as for the extent of the medical team’s cooperation with social work specialists from the point of view of social work specialists, it obtained an arithmetic average (3.3), and with regard to the extent The challenges facing the social work specialist in the medical field during crisis intervention, as it obtained a mean of (3.2). In light of these results, some recommendations were formulated, the most important of which were: spreading a culture of awareness of the Corona pandemic through visits and initiatives carried out by social work specialists, activating the role of the various media regarding the importance of the work done by social work specialists in hospitals, and activating the participation of civil institutions in facing Corona pandemic.
