With the presence of the different languages in a world characterized by its cultural heritage, the idea of relying on translation is born; translating from the old eras till nowadays knew and still does know an important variety of languages, contexts and societies which might have a huge cultural difference, we wonder thus about the translation of the cultural aspects ; and seeking the common points between two cultures that the history has gathered since centuries, that is to say, the Spanish culture and the Arabic culture, our goal is to find, through the cultural referent of the Spanish and the Arabic proverbs, which represent the society’s image, the path that leads us to the tolerant dialogue with the other ones and to the reciprocal understanding between the two cultures in question; and from there, translation is to be quintessentially considered as a bridge and a cultural intermediate. Por la presencia de diferentes lenguas en un mundo caracterizado por su riqueza cultural, nace la idea de recurrir a traducir; traducir desde los tiempos pasados hasta nuestro tiempo actual ha conocido y sigue conociendo una gran variedad de lenguas, contextos y sociedades que pueden tener una enorme diferencia cultural; entonces, nos preguntamos sobre la traducción de los aspectos culturales; y a partir de nuestra curiosidad de buscar los puntos compartidos entre dos culturas que la historia ha reunido durante muchos siglos, o sea, la cultura española y la cultura árabe. Nuestro objetivo es encontrar, a través del referente cultural de los refranes españoles y árabes, que representan la imagen de la sociedad, el camino que nos lleva al dialogo tolerante con el otro y la comprensión mutua entre las dos culturas en cuestión; Y desde allí, se considera a la traducción como puente y mediador cultural por excelencia. |
