|a يتناول هذا البحث دور قبيلة الفرنجة في التصدي للنفوذ المتزايدة لقبائل الآفار والتي ظهرت خطورتها مع نهاية القرن السادس وبداية القرن السابع الميلادي. ولقد اتفقت مصلحة الفرنجة مع مصلحة الإمبراطورية البيزنطية في مواجهة هذا الخطر، فتضامنوا سوياً لخلق المشاكل السياسية داخل قبائل الآفار؛ مما أدى إلى انقسام قبائل الآفار إلى عدة دول مستقلة من أمثلتها الويند والبلغار، سببت بعضاً منها خطراً على الحدود الفرنجية؛ مما دعا ملوك الفرنجة إلى اتخاذ موقف حازم تجاه تلك الأخطار.
|b This research deals with the role of the Frankish tribe in confronting the increasing influence of the Avar tribes, whose danger appeared at the end of the sixth century and the beginning of the seventh century AD. The interest of the Franks agreed with the interest of the Byzantine Empire in facing this danger, so they joined forces to create political problems within the Avar tribes; This led to the division of the Avar tribes into several independent states, such as the Winds and the Bulgars, some of which caused a threat to the Frankish borders; Which called on the kings of the Franks to take a firm stand towards these dangers.
