المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الضغوطات النفسية لدى زوجات المرضى الفصاميين في محافظة رام الله والبيرة، وبيان أثر متغيرات (مكان السكن، وعمر الزوجة، وعدد سنوات مرض الزوج، ومعدل الدخل الشهري) على ذلك وتحديد الصعوبات التي تواجهها زوجات المرضى الفصاميين في محافظة رام الله والبيرة. وقام فريق الدراسة ببناء الأداة واستخراج صدقها وثباتها، وطبقت بطريقة العينة القصدية المكونة من (109) مبحوثات من زوجات المرضى الفصاميين. وأظهرت النتائج: -أن الدرجة الكلية للضغوطات النفسية جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة لدى زوجات المرضى الفصاميين في محافظة رام الله والبيرة، كذلك تبين أن بعد الضغوطات الاقتصادية احتل الترتيب الأول، بعدها الضغوطات النفسية، ثم الضغوط الأسرية، وأخيرا الضغوط الاجتماعية. -لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات الضغوطات النفسية تبعا لمتغير مكان السكن، وعمر الزوجة، وعدد سنوات مرض الزوج على الدرجة الكلية للضغوطات النفسية، وكذلك وجود فروق على الدرجة الكلية تبعا لمتغير مستوى الدخل لصالح الزوجات اللواتي معدل دخلهن (أقل من 2000 شيكل). -أن اهم الصعوبات التي تواجهها زوجات المرضى الفصاميين بسبب مرض أزواجهن تمثلت في (صعوبة الوضع المادي وعدم القدرة على توفير احتياجات الأسرة)، وأوصت الدراسة إلى إعداد البرامج الإرشادية والوقائية والعلاجية التي تركز على خفض الضغوطات النفسية لدى زوجات المرضى الفصاميين. وتشكيل مجموعات الدعم الاجتماعي التي تضم الزوجات وأسرهم من أجل تبادل الخبرات، بتوجيه من اختصاصيين نفسيين للعمل على تطوير استراتيجيات التكيف لديهن.

This study aimed to identify the level of psychological stressors among schizophrenic patients’ wives in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate,. The study also aimed to identify the differences in averages of psychological stressors according to variables of: (place of residence, age of the wife, years of husband illness, and average monthly income). The study team built the tool extracted its validity and stability and applied the intentional sampling method , the study was applied to a sample of (109) respondents of schizophrenic patients' wives. The results showed the following: • The overall degree of psychological stressors was high among schizophrenic patients’ wives in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate. It also showed that the factor of economic pressures came in the first place, and the psychological pressures came in second place, then the family pressure came in third place; however all of them got a high degree, except the factor of social pressures which came in the fourth place, with a medium degree. • There are no statistically significant differences in the averages of psychological stressors according to the variables of place, of residence, age of the wife, and years of husband's illness, on the total score of the psychological pressures,. It was found that there were differences in favor of wives whose careers are (housewives); as well as differences on the total score, according to the variable of income level, in favor of the wives whose average income is (less than NIS 2,000). • The most important difficulties faced by wives of schizophrenic patients in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate due to their husbands 'illness were (the difficulty of the financial situation and the inability to provide the needs of their families),. The most important needs that schizophrenic patients' wives require for their sick husbands are (to provide them with the appropriate medicine), In light of these results, the researcher came up with a set of recommendations, namely the call for accomplishing guidance, preventive and therapeutic programs that focus on reducing psychological stressors suffered by wives of schizophrenic patients. In addition to the formation of social support groups that include spouses of schizophrenic patients and their families to share experiences, backing and empowerment by group members with guidance from psychologists to develop their adaptation strategies.
