المستخلص: إن محاولة تتبع ما يجري بين الشباب حول جنسانيتهم، خاصة بعد أن نعرف أن الشباب يصل بوقت طويل إلى النضج الجنسي قبل أن يصبح قادرا اجتماعيا على الزواج الذي هو الإطار الوحيد المقبول للتعبير عن هذه الرغبة، ولأن ظروف الحياة التي يعيشها الشباب الجزائري من طول فترة التمدرس أو التعليم وصعوبة إيجاد عمل ومسكن وغلاء المعيشة كل هذه الظروف مجتمعة بالإضافة إلى عوامل أخرى أدت إلى تأخر السن عند أول زواج، وطول فترة الصيام الجنسي المفروضة على الشباب، خاصة بعدما أظهر التعداد العام للسكان بالجزائر لسنة 2008 أن سن الزواج بالنسبة للرجال هو 35.2 سنة أما بالنسبة للنساء فهو 31.1 سنة، وهذا ما يجعلنا نتساءل كيف يتعامل الشباب من الجنسين مع المسألة الجنسية في ظل الضغوطات الاجتماعية والدينية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الشباب من الجنسين يقومون ببعض الممارسات والسلوكات ذات طابع جنسي فيما بينهم، مخترقين بذلك بعض الممنوعات الاجتماعية حتى وإن لم يصرحوا بذلك.

This study is an attempt to trace what happens among the youth about their sexuality, especially after knowing that the youth reach sexual maturity before becoming socially able to marry. Marriage is the only acceptable framework for expressing this desire in a society with hard-living conditions such as the long period of studying, the shortage of work and housing and also the increasing cost of living. All these conditions combined, in addition to other factors leading to the delay of the first marriage, and the prolonging the period of sexual fasting. This is proved by the general Algerian census of 2008 which showed that the age of marriage for men is 35.2 and for women is 32 years. This finding makes us wonder how young men and women deal with the issue of sexuality under these social and religious pressure. This is why we wonder how the youth, from both genders, behave with the issue of sex under the social and religious pressures. The survey showed that the youth, from both genders, do some sexual behaviour and practices with each other, breaking as such some forbidden deeds even if they do not declare.

Le but de cet article est d’étudier le comportement sexuel des jeunes algériens célibataires qui atteignent une maturité sexuelle bien avant de devenir socialement capables de se marier dans une société algérienne ou le mariage est l’unique forme reconnue pour exprimer leurs désirs sexuels. Le recensement général de la population algérienne de 2008 a montré que l'âge du mariage est de 35,2 ans pour les hommes et de 31,1 ans pour les femmes. Ce retard du mariage est généralement expliqué par les conditions de vie dans lesquelles vivent les jeunes Algériens, comme la difficulté de trouver un travail, un logement et, sans oublier la cherté de la vie. Toutes ces conditions imposent une longue période de jeûne sexuel aux jeunes. Cela nous amène à nous s’interroger comment le jeune algérien gère sa sexualité tout au long de cette période, comment il se comporte face aux pressions sociales et religieuses. L'étude a révélé que les jeunes hommes et femmes adoptent des pratiques et des comportements sexuels, défiant et transgressant certains tabous sociaux, qu’ils n'expriment pas comme tels.
