المستخلص: In this short speech, the researcher Khaled Muhammad Abdo tries to introduce Father Paul Noya and his scientific efforts. He reviewed the works of one of the Jesuit fathers and tried to identify his efforts in studying Islamic mysticism, and his surprise at that short trip that resulted in many works of study, translation and investigation, so he combined the ways of creativity in presenting Sufi heritage, from Baghdad to Paris, from Cairo to Fez, and from Beirut to Turkey and Iran, Father Paul Noya tried to collect many mystical interpretations of the Qur’an to extract from them a regulating thread for a new language created by the Sufis with a special and unique character. And they formulated all of this in such a precise formulation that it is difficult to understand its system and to identify its origins on those who were far from this heritage in spirit, contemplation and life. The researcher explained how the monk of knowledge began his journey by following the narrations of the first generation of companions and followers and inspected the areas of creativity among the students of this generation and extracted from them what served to be an addition to him in discovering the origins of the Sufi language, and for that he had to read what was attributed to the Messenger of Islam and that He records his vision of what he read and contemplated, Among the fruits of reading were severed articles that were published in French (none of them have been translated into Arabic so far), and those who wrote about (The Point), (The Letter), (Al-Taseen), (AI-Hikma) and (Al-Mawqif) achieved their works and translated a large part of them into the language. The researcher believes that tracing the scientific path of this monk is enough to remake the life of the researcher in Islamism anew, and to show us the extent of our shortcomings in the knowledge we inherited as well as our distortion of it and our exploitation of our Islamic heritage in the battles of false life.
