|a يتميز جبل مقلوب بوجود عدد كبير من الظواهر الكارستية فيها الذي يقع في شمال شرق مدينة موصل بحوالي (32كم)، تابع إداريا لمحافظة نينوي، على ارتفاع 1048 مترا فوق مستوى البحر، إذ يقع فلكيا ضمن خطي طول (43◦ 22' 0'' E – 43◦ 30' 0'' E) ودائرئي عرض (36◦ 28' 0'' N – 36◦ 34' 0'' N)، وتمثل المظاهر الكارستية في جبل مقلوب بوسيلة التي من خلالها تم التعرف على الخصائص المناخية القديمة والحالية إذ انحصرت مدة الدراسة من (2020- 1990) وباستخدام المحطة المناخية الافتراضية من وكالة ناسا الدولية، إن لتفسير الصحيح للظاهرات الجيومورفية الحالية لسطح الأرض لأن يكون مستطاعا بدون فهم التأثير بين التغيرات الجيولوجية والمناخية في عصر البلايوستوسين، إذ يمثل مناخ القديم ذات قيمة كبيرة في منطقة الدراسة لم له دور كبير إبراز المظاهر الكارستية التي لا يمكن أن تحدث في المناخ الحالي، وبيان خصائص الهيدرولوجيا والجيولوجيا والتربة والغطاء النباتي كلها عوامل ساعدت على نشوء وتطوير المظاهر الكارستية في منطقة الدراسة.
|b Maqlub mountain is characterized with a large number of Karst phenomena. The mountain is located north east of Mosul (32 Km) and it is administratively affiliated to Nineveh governorate with an elevation of 1048 meters from the sea level in the longitudes (43◦ 22' 0'' E – 43◦ 30' 0'' E) and the latitude (36◦ 28' 0'' N – 36◦ 34' 0'' N). The Karst phenomena in Maqlub mountain with a means by which the old and the present climate characteristics can be identified. The period of the study involved the years (1990-2020) by making use of the virtual climate station of NASA International Agency. The correct explanation of the morphological of the current morphological phenomena of the earth surface is not possible without understanding the impact of the geological and climatic changes in the Blyocin age as the old climate represents a great value in the area of the study because it plays an important role in manifesting the Karst aspects that can't occur in the present climate, showing the hydrology, geology, soil and vegetation cover, which are all factors that helped the emergence and the development of the Karst aspects in the area studies.
