المستخلص: Our work is part of a mythocritical analysis of children's literature. Our corpus of study is the series by the British writer J.K. Rowling, where we will propose a technique of locating the Greek and medieval myths rewritten by this writer. Of this, a reading based on a mythanalysis is essential in order to dissect the myth in itself and establish the transposition of its meaning and its symbolism. This will allow us to prove that the myth constitutes a relevant source, because it is endowed with a moral and psychic teaching for the young reader.

Notre travail s’inscrit dans la perspective d’une analyse mythocritique de la littérature pour la jeunesse. Notre corpus d’étude est la série de l’écrivaine britannique J.K.Rowling, où nous proposerons une technique de repérage des mythes grecs et médiévaux réécrits par cette écrivaine. De cela, une lecture basée sur une mythanalyse y est primordiale afin de décortiquer le mythe en lui-même et établir la transposition de sa signification et de sa symbolique. Cela nous permettra de prouver que le mythe constitue une source pertinente, car il est doté d’un enseignement moral et psychique pour le jeune lecteur.
