|a هدف البحث الحالي إلى دراسة الفروق في اضطراب الصمت الانتقائي وفقا لبعض المتغيرات الديموجرافية (العمر-النوع- المستوى الاجتماعي- ترتيب الطفل في الأسرة)، تكونت العينة من(60) طفلا (22) ذكور و(38) إناث، تتراوح أعمارهم بين (7-12) عاما من محافظة الفيوم، طبقت عليهم الباحثة مقياس اضطراب الصمت الانتقائي ل (Lindsey Bergman, SMQ, 2012) تعريب الباحثة. وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في اضطراب الصمت الانتقائي بين الذكور والإناث في اتجاه الإناث، بينما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في اضطراب الصمت الانتقائي تعزى للعمر، والمستوى الاجتماعي، وترتيب الطفل في الأسرة.
|b the research aimed to study the differences in selective mutism disorder depending on some demographic variables (age - gender – social level – order of the child in the family) . The sample consisted of (60) children , (22) males and (38) females , their ages rang from (7-12) years old from Fayoum governorate . the researcher applied to them selective mutism scale which translated into Arabic by the researcher .and Results showed that: There are statistically significant differences in selective mutism disorder between males and females in favour of females, There aren’t statistically significant differences in selective mutism disorder depending on (age, social level, the order of child in thier family) variable .
