تأتى أهمية البحث في منظمة غاز شرق المتوسط كمنظمة دولية (E M G F) كونها منظمة حديثة النشأة تتعلق بها أمال شعوب وحكومات منطقة شرق المتوسط لتحقيق كثير من الأهداف والأعباء والمهمات التي وجدت من أجلها، فقد ولدت هذه المنظمة في منطقة تكثر فيها النزاعات وخاصة ما يتعاق بترسيم الحدود واستخراج البترول والغاز فضلا عن بعض النزاعات ذات الأسباب الأخرى. لإلقاء الضوء على منظمة غاز شرق المتوسط كمنظمة دولية لإقليمية ومحاولة حل الإشكاليات التي أثرناها عالية جاء البحث على ثلاثة فصول فصل تمهيدي وفصلين أخرين، تعرضت في الفصل التمهيدي إلى إلقاء الضوء على القواعد الدولية التي تحكم المنظمات الدولية الإقليمية وضحت من خلاله مفهوم الإقليمية في ضوء قواعد القانون الدولي من خلال مواثيق المنظمات الدولية وكذلك من خلال أراء الفقه الدولي وذلك في المبحث الأول أما المبحث الثاني فكان لتوضيح أراء الفقه الدولي المؤيدة والمعارضة لفكرة التنظيم الإقليمي كأداة لمعاونة الأمم المتحدة في حفظ السلم والأمن الدوليين ، ، ثم كان الفصل الأول موضحا النزاع على غاز شرق المتوسط والقواعد القانونية الدولية الحاكمة لذلك النزاع فجاء المبحث الأول منه معطيا مختصرا وأمثلة لتلك النزاعات ولم يتعرض لها جميعها فتعرضت بنبذة للصراع الإسرائيلي اللبناني وكذلك النزاع الإسرائيلي الفلسطيني وكذلك النزاع التركي اليوناني، وجاء المبحث الثاني موضحا الاتفاقيات الدولية الحاكمة لتلك المنازعات، ثم جاء الفصل الثاني مركزا على المنظمة ذاتها موضحا الإطار القانوني للمنظمة فجاء المبحث الأول موضحا نشأة المنظمة وطبيعتها القانونية وأهدافها، ثم وضحت في المبحث الثاني الهيكل التنظيمي لها وأجهزتها الإدارية والتنفيذية، وأدلفت بالمبحث الأخير حول التحديات ومعوقات عمل المنظمة ثم ختمت بالنتائج والتوصيات.
The importance of research in the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Organization as an international organization (EMGF) is that it is a newly established organization to which the hopes of the peoples and governments of the Eastern Mediterranean region relate to achieving many goals, burdens and tasks for which it was found. and oil and gas extraction, as well as some disputes with other causes. To shed light on the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Organization as an international regional organization and to try to solve the problems that we raised above, the research came on three chapters, an introductory chapter and two other chapters. International jurisprudence through the charters of international organizations, as well as through the opinions of international jurisprudence, in the first topic. As for the second topic, it was to clarify the principles of international jurisprudence supporting and opposing the idea of regional organization as a tool to help the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security, then the first chapter explained the dispute over gas. The eastern Mediterranean and the international legal rules governing that conflict, so the first topic came out giving brief and examples of those disputes, but not all of them were exposed, so it was exposed to an overview of the Israeli-Lebanese conflict, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as the Turkish-Greek conflict. On the organization itself, explaining the legal framework of the organization, so the first topic explained that The origin of the organization, its legal nature and its objectives, then it clarified in the second section its organizational structure and its administrative and executive bodies, and it included the last topic about the challenges and obstacles to the work of the organization and then concluded with the results and recommendations.
