المستخلص: This study provides a review of the human development index in Egypt with an analysis of its three dimensions (education, health, and economic performance). In addition, the study presents an overview of CO2 emissions, energy efficiency and its indicators, and energy policies in Egypt. The policies include energy subsidies and renewable energy investments; including; hydroelectric energy, wind energy and solar energy.
