|a خلفية الدراسة: يوجد جدال واسع بين الباحثين في الخوف من الجريمة في المفهوم وطريقة القياس ما أدى إلى نتائج غير متسقة، ومن ثم تهدف الدراسة لإنشاء مقياس للخوف من الوقوع ضحية لجريمة، حيث بمراجعة الأدبيات وجد أن معظم قياسات المفهوم تعتمد على بند وحيد، استخدم في معظم الجهات الأمنية في أمريكا وأوروبا، في حين أن للجريمة منحى ثقافي يتعلق بالبيئة التي تنشأ بها، ومن ثم ظهرت الحاجة في بيئتنا إلى مقياس يتغلب على ظاهرة البند الوحيد، ويكون نابعا من البيئة والثقافة المصرية. المنهج: تم مراجعة العديد من الدراسات والمقاييس حول المفهوم ونقدها تمهيدا لعرض أداة الدراسة ومبررات عملها. والاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي في الأساس. النتائج: استخدمت أساليب سيكومترية للتحقق من الثبات والصدق بأنواعها وكذا الأساليب الإحصائية كالتحليل العاملي الاستكشافي والتوكيدي. الاستنباطات: الأداة صالحة للتطبيق في البيئة المصرية وهي أداة مهمة في يد متخذ القرار الأمني والوطني في مكافحة ومجابهة الجريمة والحد منها.
|b Study background: There is wide controversy among researchers in the fear of crime in conceptualization and method of measurement, which led to inconsistent results, and then this study aims to create a measure for the fear of crime, by reviewing the literature it was found that most of the measurements of the concept depend on a single item, used in Most of the security agencies in America and Europe, while crime has a cultural aspect related to the environment in which it arises, that overcomes the phenomenon of the single item, and stems from the Egyptian environment and culture. Method: Several studies and measures were reviewed and critiqued in preparation for presenting the study tool. Results: Psychometric methods were used to verify the reliability and validity,, as well as statistical methods such as exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Conclusions: The tool is valid for application in the Egyptian environment, and it is an important tool in the hands of the security and national decision-maker in combating, confronting and limiting crime.
