المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على قضية الوضوح والغموض في الشعر العربي المعاصر وذلك بإبراز السمات الفنية للغموض وأثره الجمالي في الشعر، إذ يعطي اللغة دلالات ومعان متمنعة ومخفية تستثير المتلقي لمجابهته ومواجهته من أجل الوصول إلى جمالياته، وهذا بعرض نماذج تطبيقية من شعر محمود درويش وتبيان الأثر الجمالي المولد للمعاني الذي خلفه تضمين الشاعر للرموز الدلالية وتوظيفه للأسطورة بشكل فني وجمالي منسجم ومتناسق في قصائده مما يسمح للمتلقي بالدخول إلى جو النص وفهمه وتأويله والبحث في مثيراته اللا متوقعة وملء فراغاته. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز العلاقة بين اللغة والشعر من خلال التطرق إلى قضية تجديد اللغة لتكون لغة خلق وإبداع ولتحاكي بذلك قضايا المجتمع المتغير والمتجدد، تهدف هذه الدراسة أيضا إلى إظهار العلاقة بين الأسطورة والشعر وما يخلفه تضمين التشكيل الأسطوري من أثر فني وجمالي في الخطاب الشعري وخلص البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات أثبتها الباحث في الخاتمة.
