المستخلص: يتكون هذا البحث من مقدمة، ومبحثين، وخاتمة، أما المقدمة: فاشتملت على بيان أهمية الموضوع، وأهدافه، والدراسات السابقة، وحدود البحث، وهيكل البحث، ومنهج الباحث. وأما المبحث الأول: فتضمن دراسة حال الراوي نظريا ويشمل مطلبين: ترجمة حال الراوي، وأقوال أهل العلم في الراوي، مع الترجيح. وأما المبحث الثاني: فتضمن دراسة تطبيقية على مرويات سالم بن عجلان الأفطس في الكتب التسعة جمعا ودراسة، وفيه ستة مطالب: مروياته في صحيح البخاري وبلغت روايتين، مروياته في سنن أبي داود وبلغت روايتين، مروياته في سنن النسائي وبلغت رواية واحدة، مروياته في سنن ابن ماجه وبلغت رواية واحدة، مروياته في مسند أحمد وبلغت روايتين، مروياته في سنن الدارمي وبلغت روايتين. وأما الخاتمة: فتضمنت نتائج البحث والتوصيات.

This research consists of an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion, and the introduction: it included a statement of the importance of the topic, its objectives, previous studies, the limits of the research, the structure of the research, and the researcher’s approach. As for the first topic: it included a theoretical study of the narrator’s condition and includes two requirements: the translation of the narrator’s condition, and the sayings of scholars about the narrator, with weighting. As for the second topic: it included an applied study on the narrations of Salem bin Ajlan Al- Aftas in the nine books, collection and study, and it contains six demands: his narrations in Sahih al-Bukhari and amounted to two narrations, his narrations in Sunan Abi Dawood and amounted to two narrations, his narrations in Sunan al-Nasa’i and amounted to one narration, his narrations in Sunan Ibn Majah reached one narration, his narrations were in the Musnad of Ahmad and amounted to two narrations, his narrations were in Sunan al- Darami and amounted to two narrations. As for the conclusion: it included the research results and recommendations.
