المستخلص: يتمثل الهدف الرئيسي من هذا البحث في التعرف على واقع القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا، وذلك من خلال تناول هيكل القطاع المصرفي هناك، والتعرف على تطور مؤشراته، بالإضافة إلى تناول طبيعة ومبادئ وإجراءات إصلاح القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا، وقد تم ذلك من خلال اختبار الفرض الرئيسي للبحث القائل بـــ "إن إصلاحات القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا كان لها أثر إيجابي على تطور مؤشرات القطاع المصرفي"، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ لتحقيق غرض الدراسة الرئيسي، والذي يتم من خلاله وصف حالة وواقع القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا، بالإضافة إلى تناول المؤشرات الرئيسية الخاصة به. وتشير نتائج البحث إلى إمكانية قبول فرض البحث القائل بأن "إصلاحات القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا كان لها أثر إيجابي على تطور مؤشرات القطاع المصرفي"؛ حيث تشير نتائج البحث إلى تطور غالبية مؤشرات القطاع المصرفي في جنوب أفريقيا خلال الفترة (2004-2019).

The main objective of this research is to identify the reality of the banking sector in South Africa, by addressing the structure of the banking sector there, and identifying the development of its indicators, in addition to addressing the nature, principles and procedures for reforming the banking sector in South Africa, and this was done by testing the hypothesis The main point of the research is that "the reforms of the banking sector in South Africa had a positive impact on the development of the indicators of the banking sector." The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach; To achieve the main purpose of the study, which describes the state and reality of the banking sector in South Africa, in addition to addressing its main indicators. The results of the research indicate the possibility of accepting the hypothesis of the research that "the reforms of the banking sector in South Africa had a positive impact on the development of the indicators of the banking sector"; The results of the research indicate the development of most indicators of the banking sector in South Africa during the period (2004-2019).
