المستخلص: لم يستطع الأدب التخلي عن توظيف الأسطورة، ولا تزال الأسطورة تحيا طيلة هذه الأزمنة بفضل توظيف الأدب لها، فالعلاقة التي تربط الأدب بالأسطورة هي علاقة جدلية يشوبها مد وجزر، فالأدب ترعرع في أحضان الأسطورة، وكانت ملهمة الأدباء والشعراء بل أصبحت من أهم رموز الحداثة الأدبية. غير أن إغراق الأدب في جانبه الأسطوري أدخله إلى عوالم الغموض والإبهام، ووصل إلى حد إفساد المعنى. لهذا فالعلاقة التي تربط الأدب بالأسطورة هي في حقيقتها علاقة يشوبها التوتر والارتباك، فهي قد تكون مادة الأدب الخام، وقد تكون أيضا نصا أدبيا بامتياز، وبين هذا وذاك يبقى النقد يبحث في هذه العلاقة الجدلية والمرتبكة.

The employment of the legend has not given up by literature and the legend still lives through these decades due to the literature usage of it, for the relation which ties the literature with the legend is a debatable one, where literature embraced by the legend and not only was the writers and poets’ inspiration tool; yet it became one of the literary modernity most important symbols. But, literature diving in its legendary side logged it into the ambiguity and obscurity worlds to reach its corrupting meaning. In reality the relationship that links literature with legend, was tainted with anxiety and perturbation, either it may be the literature raw material or may also excellently be a literary text; therefore the criticism remains searching into this debatable and perturbed relation.

La littérature n'a pas pu abandonner l'emploi de la légende, et c’est grâce à cela que la légende continue de vivre à travers ces temps. La relation qui relie la littérature à la légende est une relation dialectique teintée de flux et de reflux, c’est ainsi que la littérature grandissait au sein de la légende, et elle a été l'inspiratrice des écrivains et des poètes, et elle est devenue l'un des symboles les plus importants de la modernité littéraire. C'est pourquoi le rapport qui lie la littérature à la légende est, en réalité, un rapport teinté de tension et de confusion, car elle peut être la matière première de la littérature, et elle peut aussi être un texte littéraire par excellence, et entre ceci et cela la critique doit toujours faire des recherches sur cette relation controversée et confuse.
