لا جدال في أن عصرنا يختلف اختلافا جذريا عما سبقه من حقب تاريخية، ولعله لا مجال هنا للمقارنة نظرا لما طرأ على عالمنا المعاصر من تطورات، وما جد فيه من متغيرات متسارعة، وما ظهر فيه من مخترعات باهرة لم تكن تخطر على بال أحد من كتاب روايات الخيال العلمي. فالواقع المعاصر فاق كل التوقعات، إنه عصر الثورة العلمية والتكنولوجية وثورة المعلومات والاتصالات والاستنساخ. وكل يوم يشهد عالمنا المعاصر مزيدا من الاكتشافات والمخترعات والمفاجآت، ويخلق مالا تعلمون. والسؤال هو: أين عالمنا الإسلامي من ذلك كله؟ ألا يعد جزءا من هذا العالم الذي نعيش فيه، والذي أصبح -كما يقال كثيرا-مثل قرية كونية صغيرة؟ ألا يتأثر بكل ما يحدث في هذا العالم من متغيرات؟ وهل يستطيع أن يعزل نفسه عن ذلك كله؟ هل اكتفي عالمنا الإسلامي بدور المتفرج على ما يدور حوله من تطورات، وقنع بدور المستهلك لما ينتجه عالمنا المعاصر من منجزات في مجالات العلم والتكنولوجيا والترفيه؟ إن ما جد في العالم من تطورات على جميع المستويات السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والعلمية يحمل معه تحديات كثيرة لعالمنا الإسلامي، فهل استعد المسلمون لمواجهتها وبذل الجهد للتغلب عليه (١) وقبل الدخول في تفاصيل هذا الموضوع نود هنا أن نؤكد أن كل التحديات التي تحيط بعالمنا الإسلامي ليست تحديات تواجه الإسلام بوصفه الدين الخاتم الذي تستطيع شريعته أن تواجه كل الظروف والمتغيرات في كل زمان ومكان لما تمتاز به من المرونة والاعتدال، فالتحديات القائمة واللاحقة هي في حقيقة الأمر تحديات للمسلمين وليست تحديات للإسلام ذاته. إنها تحديات تواجه عقول المسلمين وقدرتهم على استيعاب تطورات العصر، من ماض إلى حاضر إلى مستقبل، وأنها دائما في صعود، فالتاريخ يسير إلى الأمام والوعي بالزمن، والوعي بالتطور التاريخي. There is no argument that our era is radically different from previous historical periods, and perhaps there is no room for comparison here, given the developments that have occurred in our contemporary world, The rapid changes in it, and the brilliant inventions that appeared in it that no one had ever thought of a book of novels. Science Fiction. The contemporary reality has exceeded all expectations. It is the age of the scientific and technological revolution, the information and communication revolution, and the reproduction. And every day our contemporary world witnesses more discoveries, inventions and surprises, and creates money you know. The question is: _Where is our Islamic world in all of that? Is it not part of this world in which we live, which has become - as is often said - like a small cosmic village? Is it not affected by all the variables that happen in this world? Can he isolate himself from all of that? Has our Islamic world satisfied itself with the role of spectator on the developments going on around it, and has been convinced of the role of the consumer due to the achievements produced by our contemporary world in the fields of science, technology and entertainment? The developments in the world at all political, economic, social and scientific levels carry with it many challenges for our Islamic world, so have Muslims prepared to face them and make the effort to overcome them? Is it not affected by all the variables that happen in this world? Can he isolate himself from all of that? Has our Islamic world satisfied itself with the role of spectator on the developments going on around it, and has been convinced of the role of the consumer due to the achievements produced by our contemporary world in the fields of science, technology and entertainment? The developments in the world at all political, economic, social and scientific levels carry with it many challenges for our Islamic world, so have Muslims prepared to face them and make the effort to overcome them? Before going into the details of this topic, we would like to stress here that all the challenges surrounding our Islamic world are not challenges facing Islam. As the final religion whose Sharia can face all circumstances and changes at all times and places due to its flexibility and moderation, the existing and future challenges are in fact challenges for Muslims and not challenges for Islam itself. They are challenges facing the minds of Muslims and their ability to comprehend modem developments, from past to present to future, and they are always on the rise, as history moves forward, awareness of time, and awareness of historical development. |
