| 520 | |b Faced with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Morocco has taken a series of emergency measures to combat the pandemic. In general, the Moroccan government imposed the period of restriction of movement after declaring a state of health emergency on the national territory by decree n ° 2.20.293 of March 24, 2020. The provisions relating to the state of health emergency and the procedures for its declaration were enacted by decree-Law n° 292-20-2 of March 23, 2020. Article 6 of this decree specifies that all the time limits provided by a legislative or regulatory law must be suspended during the period of declared health emergency, and his account will be resumed from the date following that of the lifting of the aforementioned state of health emergency. The decree does not provide for provisions applicable to the rights of the company, in particular general meetings and the board of directors. However, Bill No. 27-20 was published on April 16, 2020, its main provisions aimed at introducing exceptions with regard to meetings of legislative bodies and public meetings, with the aim of securing the work of companies. . It is particularly welcome in the context of the extension of the confinement period.
