المستخلص: إثر التحولات الاجتماعية التي يشهدها عالمنا المعاصر في معالم الحياة كافة، بدءا من جوانبها الاقتصادية المادية مرورا بجوانبها الثقافية الاجتماعية، وانتهاء بجوانبها النفسية يعاني الرجل المعاصر اليوم مأزقا متعدد الأوجه، يتجلى باحتلاله موقعا تتجاذبه قوى متناقضة، الأولى تدفعه باتجاه التوافق النفس اجتماعي الذي تحكمه أساسا رغباته ومكتسباته، وأهمها استواؤه كائنا صاحب سلطة وقوة وقرار، والثانية تتمثل بدخول المرأة مجاله العام، وقد أرسى مقامه الخاص لزمن طويل مضى، لتأخذ مكانة الشريك له في مختلف المواقع والأدوار، وما تطلب ذلك من دعمه لها عبر مشاركته المباشرة لها في المجال الداخلي حيث مقامها الخاص من دون أن نغفل عن ذكر التحولات التي أصابت سوق العمل، والثقافة المادية الاستهلاكية المفرطة التي يشهدها عالمنا المعاصر والتي تعطي القيمة الأكبر للمال والمنصب والشهرة، إضافة إلى التقدم المذهل للمجتمع المعلوماتي ولتكنولوجيا الاتصال، التي أنتجت تعددا كبيرا في الهويات، كما خلقت تداخلا في الهويات الأنثوية والذكورية. وهو ما أدى إلى بداية تدهور تدريجي للهيمنة الذكورية التي تجلى انهيارها بتفكك المؤسسة الأبوية التي تخضع تحت ضغط سياق اجتماعي متغير، وإلى التوجه نحو مجتمع تمحا فيه شخصية الأب وإفراغها من وظيفته ليبرز أمامنا رجل قد أنتج موقعه الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والبيولوجي فرديته، وأنشأت تنشئته الاجتماعية سلطة وقوة، وأنتجت هواماته صراعات مكبوتة مع سطوة النساء الواقعية، وهو يعيش اليوم محنة انتمائه للقيم الملحقة ببعدي الذكورة المنمطة، والتطلع نحو حداثة متجددة مربكة في آن واحد ويعاش هذا الصراع بشكل أزمة وجودية يدفع الرجل ثمنها تحولا في الدور وأزمة في الذكورة.

Following the social transformations taking place in our modern world in all of life’s milestones, beginning with its material-economic aspects to its socio-cultural aspects and ending with psychological aspects, today’s modern man suffers from a multifaceted predicament manifested in holding a figure that is attracted by contradictory forces; the first pushing him towards self-social harmony, which is mainly controlled by his desires and gains; the most important of which is his normalcy as the one in power, with strength and decision. The second is the woman’s involvement in his public sphere, where he has long established his own place to take his partner’s status in different sites and roles, and which demands his support through his active participation in the domestic sphere where her own place is. Adding to this, we could not fail to mention the transformations that have affected the labor market and the over-excessive consumption material culture of our contemporary world, which places the greatest value on money, titles, and fame, as well as the spectacular progress of the information society and communication technology, which has resulted in a proliferation of identities and an interference of female and male identities. This led to the beginning of a gradual deterioration of male domination, whose collapse was manifested by the disintegration of the patriarchal institution, which was under a changing social context pressure, and a tendency towards a society in which the father’s personality is erased and emptied of his duty. until a man appears in front of us, whose social, economic, and biological position has generated his individuality, whose socialization has given rise to power and authority, and whose phantasms have generated repressed conflicts with genuine women’s power. Today, he is going through the anguish of belonging to the values associated with the standardized dimensions of masculinity while also anticipating a revitalized and perplexing modernity. This conflict is lived in the midst of an existential crisis, the cost of which is a shift in role and a crisis in masculinity.
