المستخلص: تستهدف هذه الدراسة توصيف وتحليل وتقييم دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تدعيم وتعزيز؛ بل وتنمية مظاهر الانتماء الوطني وقيمه وأسسه لدى الشباب المصري، وذلك من خال دراسة مسحية- في إطار نظرية الغرس الثقافي- على عينة من شباب الجامعات، تسعى للتعرف على علاقة الشباب المصري بمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، ورصد عادات استخدامهم لهذه المواقع، وتحليل وتقييم التأثيرات الناتجة عن هذا الاستخدام، والكشف- من خال وجهة نظرهم- عما إذا كان له علاقة بتدعيم وتنمية الانتماء الوطني لديهم أو التأثير السلبي على هذا الانتماء... وقد انتهت الدراسة لمجموعة من النتائج أبرزها: • أن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لم تعد مجرد عالم افتراضي للتواصل وتقديم الخدمات وتبادل الأفكار فقط؛ بل أصبحت تتعامل مع مختلف القضايا بتفاعل مكثف وعميق يسمح للشباب المصري بطرح آرائهم وأفكارهم ومقترحاتهم حول مختلف المشكلات والقضايا، كما أنها أضحت روافد رئيسة لبناء وترقية وتدعيم مظاهر الانتماء الوطني وقيمه وأسسه وأبعاد المواطنة. • وجود مخاطر لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ومعوقات يمكن أن تحول دون الفاعلية الكاملة لهذه المنصات في تدعيم مظاهر الانتماء الوطني وقيمه وأسسه لدى الشباب المصري في ظل التهديدات والمخاطر التي أفرزتها، أهمها: الترويج للدعايات المغرضة، وتحفيز اتجاهات التفكك والعنف، والصراعات الاجتماعية والطائفية، ودعم خطابات التطرف بما يؤثر سلبا في البناء الفكري ومنظومة القيم الوطنية لدى الشباب.

Within the framework of the cultivation theory, this study aims to describe, analyze and evaluate the role of social media sites in devoting, consolidating, reinforcing, and developing the manifestations, values and foundations of national belonging among Egyptian youth. By applying a survey on a sample of university youth, the researcher seeks to identify the relationship of Egyptian university youth to social media sites, monitor their usage habits of these sites, analyze and evaluate the effects resulting from this usage, and reveal - through their point of view - whether they have a positive or a negative impact in strengthening and developing their national belonging. The study comes up with some results most notably that social media sites are widely used by the majority of Egyptian university youth. Moreover, social media sites are no longer just a virtual world for communication that provide services and exchange ideas only. Rather, they have dealt with various issues with intense interaction in such a way that allows Egyptian youth to present their opinions, ideas, and proposals on various problems and issues. They have also become prime tributaries for building, promoting, and reinforcing the manifestations, values, and foundations of national belonging and the dimensions of citizenship. Furthermore, Egyptian university youth believe that there are risks and obstacles to social media sites that could prevent the full effectiveness of these platforms in consolidating the manifestations, values, and foundations of national belonging. The most notable risks are: Promoting malevolent propaganda, stimulating disintegration and violent attitudes, social and sectarian conflicts, and supporting extremist discourses that negatively affect the intellectual structure and the system of national values among youth.
