يهدف البحث الحالي إلى إنتاج لوحات تصويرية ومشغولات فنية وظيفية ذات قدرة شفائية. ويعد العلاج بالفن من أهم العلاجات التكميلية للبرامج العلاجية للمريض النفسي، لما له من تأثير في تقدم الحالات المرضية، إلى جانب العلاج الدوائي، والجلسات النفسية، ويستهدف مساعدة الفرد في الشعور الإيجابي تجاه نفسه، وتحسين تواصله مع الآخرين. كما استخدمت الباحثتان اختبار لوشر بالألوان،، فهو اختبار نفسي "عميق على الرغم من سهولته "، وقد تم تطويره لاستخدام الأطباء النفسيين وعلماء النفس. ويمكن للشخص العادي استخدامه بنفسه. وقد طبقت الباحثتان تجربتهما في ضوء نظرية لوشر للألوان حيث الألوان والاستجابات البشرية فلقد ابتكر الدكتور" ماكس لوشر" طريقة لتحليل الشخصية عام ١٩٤٠ من خلال معرفة اللون المفضل، حيث لاحظ إن الألوان التي يفضلها الشخص ما؛ لها علاقة بالحالة النفسية لهذا الإنسان، وهذا العلم يسمى الآن بسيكولوجية الألوان والعلاج بالفن. وقد تم تناول زهور الباخ، وهي مستخلصات نباتية تساعد على تحسين الحالة النفسية، وهي علاج بديل أو تكميلي يستخدم للمشاكل العاطفية والألم النفسي، وهي مصنوعة من مستخلصات مخففة من زهور النباتات البرية. انطلاقا مما سبق استخلصت الباحثتان مشكلة البحث في التساؤلات الآتية: ١ -كيف يمكن الاستلهام من زهور الباخ لإنتاج أعمال تصويرية مستحدثة ذات قدرة شفائية؟ ٢ -ما مدى إمكانية الاستفادة من زهور الباخ في ابتكار مشغولات فنية ذات قدرة شفائية؟
