المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على المشكلات الملبسية التي تواجه فتيات التقزم من الناحية الوظيفية والجمالية، من أجل إعداد تصميمات ملبسيه لملابس المناسبات تتلاءم مع مظهرهم الجسماني وتساعد في إخفاء العيوب الجسمية. اتبع البحث الحالي المنهج الوصفي التطبيقي لدراسة العوامل السيكولوجية الملبسية المؤثرة في مرضى التقزم من الفتيات، والتعرف إلى آرائهم في المشكلات الملبسية التي تواجههم في اختيار القطع الملبسية. وتقديم تصميمات مقترحة لأزياء المناسبات تناسب فئة فتيات التقزم من سن (25-40) سنة. تكونت أدوات البحث من استبانة استطلاع الرأي للتعرف إلى المشكلات الملبسية لفتيات التقزم، واستبانة للمتخصصين في تخصص الملابس والنسيج للتعرف إلى آرائهم تجاه التصميمات المقترحة، واستبانة لفتيات التقزم للتعرف إلى مدى تقبلهن للتصميمات المقترحة لملابس المناسبات. وسعى البحث إلى تحديد المشاكل والصعوبات التي تواجه فتيات التقزم عند ارتداء الملابس، والتي بناء عليها تم تقديم أثنى عشر تصميميا مقترحا لأزياء المناسبات لهذه الفئة. وقد تم استطلاع آراء كل من (المتخصصين، وفتيات التقزم) واتضح وجود اتفاق بين عينتي البحث حول التصميمات المقترحة لعلاج المشكلات التي تواجه فتيات التقزم في ملابس المناسبات وكانت لصالح (التصميم التاسع) في تحقيق الجانب الوظيفي والجمالي. وأوصى البحث بإجراء المزيد من الأبحاث والدراسات العلمية في مجال الملابس الخاصة بفئة المتقزمين من الذكور والإناث وذلك لتلبية احتياجاتهم الملبسية من جميع النواحي.

This research aims to study issues pertaining to the attire of female dwarves in terms of functional and aesthetical. In order to design an occasion-wear that specifically tailored in a manner of their physical shape and conceal their physical defects. As for the importance of the research, it provides design solutions for event clothes, which would make stunting girl integrate into society and appear in a decent shape that suits different social events. In terms of employing design methods and elements and their suitability, the research is also a new and distinct addition in the field of fashion design for the stunting people. Method used in this study were questionnaire for specialists and experts concerned with the proposed designs in order to get acquainted with their point of view. Besides, a questionnaire for female dwarves with the purpose of pinpointing their opinion and suggestion to the proposed occasion wear designs. The research methodology: it is a descriptive, applying approach, which studies the psychological factors affecting clothes in stunting patients, and to know their views on the problems facing them in fashion. The study also the experimental approach, as it provides 12 proposed design for event clothes, that suit stunt girls between 25-40 years of age. The study found that the first and second hypotheses of both specialists and stunt girls are positive towards the proposed designs in the aesthetical and functional aspects. The ninth design got the highest value, which was characterized by a longitudinal design from the front to the lower part of the dress, and which reveals a part of the leg, and gives a sense of length and conceals the short leg in the stunting girl. We conclude from the results the following: 1. Ready-made clothing in local markets is unsuitable for a stunted girl. There is a disparity between stunting girls in terms of those who prefer to sew clothes of the appropriate size for the body and between modification of ready-made clothes in different ways. 2. The interest in designing dwarfing girls' clothes and keeping pace with modern fashion lines gives a feeling of confidence and self-esteem. 3. The first hypothesis was achieved in the aesthetic and functional design of the designs according to opinions specialists. There is a positive relationship between the opinions of specialists and the proposed designs for treatment the problems that stunting girls encounter in occasion clothes. 4. The second hypothesis was achieved in the aesthetic and functional design of the designs according to opinions stunting girls, with a positive relationship between stunting girls' opinions and suggested designs for treatment the problems that stunting girls encounter in occasion clothes.
