المستخلص: In recent years, the interest of fashion photography has been noteworthy increased. Fashion photography is divided into two types; commercial fashion photography which is related to brand-names, fashion retailers and designers to increase the profit, and editorial fashion photography which is to shoot fashion for art. These two types have the same process steps and a final result which is “the photo”; but they are different in the purpose of shooting. The study aims to clarify the types of fashion photography through the difference between both editorial and commercial fashion photography. furthermore, the study aims to sitting a scientific method for creating editorial photoshoot and measure the effect of the related sciences on the success of embodying the concept. The researcher in this study performed a photoshoot involving 7 photos under the concept of “the conflict between the civilizations' collapse and exhilaration”. The researchers designed the dresses and created the final look for the models. A questionnaire was done for the related sciences such as the style, color, models and location of photography for specialist and interested participants. The statistics analysis done through the statistical analysis program (SPSS) Statistical Package for the Social Sciences shows that for specialist participants photo (7) is considered as the most important with mean equal66.60, for interested participants, photo (1) is considered as the most important with mean equal 69.66
