المستخلص: يناقش البحث التنمية السياسية في ضوء التنمية المستدامة، وتتجلى مشكلة الدراسة في تحديد طبيعة التحديات التي تواجه التنمية السياسية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة من خلال مقاربة مفاهيمية للتنمية السياسية والتنمية المستدامة، وتحليل هذه الأدوار والتحديات، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. حيث تعد التنمية السياسية من المفاهيم الرئيسة في ميدان العلوم السياسية، كونها عملية تستهدف تعزيز قدرة الدولة على تعبئة الموارد وتخصيصها، وتحقيق التكامل والاستقرار، وزيادة المشاركة السياسية للجماهير، في حين تشير التنمية المستدامة إلى التنمية طويلة الأمد، حيث تأخذ بعين الاعتبار حقوق الأجيال القادمة، وتسعى إلى حمايتها. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أهم النتائج، ومنها: هناك تحديات سياسية تواجه التنمية المستدامة مثل غياب الديمقراطية، والإصلاح السياسي، والمساواة بين الجنسين، الثورة المعلوماتية، وإن تحقيق التنمية المستدامة يستوجب إشباع الاحتياجات الإنمائية بطريقة منصفة، من خلال القضاء على الفقر وتقليص الفوارق في مستويات المعيشة، وتعزيز الدور الجندري وتمكين المرأة، ومشاركتها الكاملة في التنمية، مما يتطلب تبني آليات للحوار وبناء الشراكات الإقليمية والدولية ودون التصدي لهذه التحديات العميقة سيتعذر تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بشكلها المطلوب لتحقيق رفاهية المجتمعات.

The research discusses political development in the light of sustainable development, and the problem of the study is to determine the nature of the challenges facing political development to achieve sustainable development through a conceptual approach to political development and sustainable development, and to analyze these roles and challenges. The study used the descriptive analytical approach where political development is one of the main concepts In the field of political science, it is a process aimed at strengthening the state’s ability to mobilize and allocate resources, achieve integration and stability, and increase the political participation of the masses, while sustainable development refers to long-term development, taking into account the rights of future generations and seeking to protect them. The study concluded with the most important results, including: There are political challenges facing sustainable development, such as the absence of democracy, political reform, gender equality, the information revolution, and that achieving sustainable development requires satisfying development needs in an equitable manner, by eliminating poverty and reducing differences in living standards. Enhancing the gender role and empowering women, and their full participation in development, which requires adopting mechanisms for dialogue and building regional and international partnerships. Without addressing these deep challenges, it will not be possible to achieve sustainable development in the form required to achieve the well-being of societies.
