المستخلص: بدأت الدراسة بالحديث عن تعريف الحوار عند علماء اللغة والاصطلاح، ثم تناولت التعريف ببعض المصطلحات قريبة الشبه للحوار مثل : المناظرة، والجدل، والمحاجة، والمراء، ثم تناولت الحديث عن مشروعية الحوار في ضوء القرآن الكريم أولا، باعتباره المصدر الأول من مصادر التشريع الإسلامي، وبينت أن القرآن الكريم قد أرسي مبدأ الحوار لتقويم الفكر وتصحيح الفهم وفضله على القتال بالسيف في الكثير من حوارات الأنبياء مع أقوامهم، ثم تحدثت عن مشروعية الحوار في السنة النبوية، ثم الحديث عن اقتفاء الصحابة الكرام رضوان الله عليهم أثر النبي صل الله عليه وسلم في الاعتماد على أسلوب الحوار بالتي هي أحسن في معالجة أي انحراف فكري، ثم تحدثت الدراسة عن أهمية الحوار وفوائده، وكيف أن الاختلاف والتباين بين البشر أدي إلى ضرورة وحتمية الحوار للوصول إلى الحق، فالحوار وسيلة لتعارف الناس وتقاربهم، ووسيلة مثلى لنقل الأفكار وتبادل المعلومات، ولتجنب سوء الفهم ونشوء الصراع بين الأفراد والجماعات، ثم تناولت الدراسة أخلاقيات الحوار في السنة النبوية، بينت أهم الأخلاق التي ينبغي أن يبني عليها الحوار كي يكون ناجحا، ويصل إلى الغاية المنشودة، من هذه الأخلاق: الإخلاص في النية، والعلم والحلم والصبر والرفق والرحمة والشفقة، والعدل والإنصاف، والتواضع وحسن الخلق، وإقامة الحجة، وحسن الاستماع، والاحترام والمحبة رغم الخلاف تم تناولت الدراسة بعد ذلك نماذج من الحوار النبوي، بينت أن النبي صل الله عليه وسلم تحاور مع أتباعه بالرحمة في المعاملة وعدم إغلاظ القول وكذلك تحاور مع أهل الكتاب ودعاهم إلى الإسلام ومن ذلك حواره مع يهود المدينة وما عقده معهم من معاهدات تضمن العيش في أمن وأمان وطمأنينة، وكذلك كتبه صل الله عليه وسلم إلى ملوك الأرض في زمنه مثل المقوقس عظيم مصر، وقيصر عظيم الروم، وحواره كذلك مع وفد نصارى نجران، وكانت هذه الحوارات قائمة على حسن خلق، ولطف ولين كلام، بدون فظاظة ولا غلظة.

This study began with the definition of dialogue in the eyes of linguistics and terminologists. Then, this definition addressed some items that are close to dialogue such as: controversy, argument, pleasing and hypocrisy. The study then, handled the legitimacy of dialogue in the light of glorious Qur'an at the first place as the first source of Islamic legislation.it showed that the glorious qur'an established the principle of dialogue to correct thought and understanding and preferred it to killing by swords in many dialogues of prophets with their nations. The study talked about the legitimacy of dialogue in the Sunnah as well as talking about how companions followed the prophet depending on the style of dialogue in a good manner in addressing any intellectual deviation. Then the study talked about the importance ans benefits of dialogue, and how differences among mankind led to necessity and inevitability of dialogue to reach the truth. So the dialogue is a means to people to know one another and coming near to one another. It is also a good example to convey ideas and information exchange and to avoid misunderstanding and conflict- raising between individuals and society. This study also handled the ethics of dialogue in the sunnah. It pointed out the most important ethics on which the dialogue should be built upon to be a successful reaching the desired end. Among these ethics: sincere intention, knowledge and forbearing, patience, and justice, fairness, modesty and good ethics, establishing argument, listening well, respect despite the disagreement. This study then addressed models of prophetic dialogue. It pointed out that the messenger made conversation with the people of the book and invited them to Islam including his dialogue with madinah Jews and conventions held with them guarantying safety as well as his books to the kings of land in his time period such as al-Muqawqis, the great of Egypt, and Caesar the great of the Romans, and his dialogue was likewise with a delegation of Christians from Najran. these dialogues were based on the good manners, kindness and softness of words, without harshness or roughnesses.
