المستخلص: يعتبر الماء سبب استقرار الإنسان في أي مكان، لأنه العنصر الأكثر أهمية في حياته، فكان لكل مجموعة بشرية مصادرها من المياه، فتعددت هذه الأخيرة من محيطات، وبحار، وأنهار، ومياه جوفية، فالماء عنصر مهم لإحداث التوازن الفيزيائي، والاجتماعي، والاقتصادي للسكان، حيث أثبتت مختلف الدراسات أهمية هذا العنصر في حياة المجتمعات عبر التاريخ. وتعتبر الصحراء من أصعب المناطق التي تسمح باستقرار الإنسان، لصعوبة الحصول على الماء، لهذا ارتبطت الحياة فيها بموارد المياه وطرق استغلالها بأحسن الطرق، فعليها تقوم الزراعة ومختلف الصناعات، وتتكيف الحياة الاجتماعية في هذه التجمعات على الزراعة بالدرجة الأولى، وبما أن القصور من أهم التجمعات السكنية بجنوب المغرب الأوسط، فإن سكانها اهتموا بتوفير المياه وحسن استغلالها من خلال حفر الآبار بتقنية تدل على خبرتهم هي هذا المجال من طرف رجال تخصصوا في القيام بهذه العملية، فكانت الواحة نتيجة ذلك بما كانت توفره لسكان القصور من ضروريات الحياة. وتميزت كل من قصور وادي ريغ وقصور توات بوجود تقنيتين مختلفتين لاستخراج المياه واستغلالها، مكنتهم من الصمود في وسط صحراوي قاحل، فحولته إلى واحات خضراء، ليظهر للباحث مدى عبقرية الإنسان في هذه القصور التي مكنته من العيش في هذا الوسط، وشكلت هذه القصور بمرور الزمن محطات تجارية جد مهمة للقوافل العابرة للصحراء، للتزود بما تحتاجه من المؤن، وأصبحت بذلك تلك الطريق تعرف في المصادر التاريخية والجغرافية بطريق الذهب.

Water is considered the reason for human stability anywhere, because it is the most important element in his life, so every human group had its own sources of water, the latter of which were from the oceans, seas, rivers, and groundwater. Water is an important element for creating the physical, social, and economic balance of the population, as it has proven various studies study the importance of this element in the life of societies throughout history, and the Sahara is one of the most difficult areas in which a person may settle due to the difficulty in obtaining water. This is why life has been linked to water resources and ways to use them in the best way. The first, and since the Ksour are one of the most important residential gatherings in the south of the Central Maghreb, their in habitants were interested in providing water and good exploitation through drilling wells with a technique that indicates their expertise is this field by men who specialized in carrying out this process, so the oasis was a result of that with what it provided to the Ksour residents of Necessities of life. Both the Righ Valley palaces and and Touat Ksour were distinguished by the presence of two different techniques for extracting and exploiting water, which enabled them to withstand in an arid desert setting, transforming them into green oases, showing the human genius of these palaces and enabling them to live in this medium, so that over time they formed very important commercial stations for crossing convoys Commercial and supply of the water it needs, a problem that has been known in historical and geographical sources by the way of gold.
