نظرا لأهمية النمو السكاني وعلاقة بالعديد من المتغيرات فلقد حاول الباحث في هذا البحث أن يبين أثر النمو السكاني على بعض القطاعات الخدمية داخل مدينة زليتن، وكان الهدف من هذا البحث معرفة معدلات النمو السكاني نحو الزيادة أو النقصان، وكذلك محاولة التعرف على تأثير هذه التغيرات في معدلات النمو السكاني داخل المدينة على مستوى الخدمات المقدمة خلال الفترة الزمنية التي شملها البحث، وانطلق البحث من فرضية مفادها أن للنمو السكاني تأثير على معدل الخدمات التي يحتاجها السكان داخل المدينة وذلك لمواكبة التغيرات الحاصلة في معدل النمو السكاني داخل المدينة، واعتمد الباحث بصورة رئيسية على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال الاعتماد على البيانات الجاهزة من الهيئات والقطاعات الحكومية داخل البلدية من سجل مدني، وقطاع التعليم وقطاع الصحة، واعتمد البحث على بعض المصادر والمراجع ذات العلاقة بموضوع البحث كبعض البحوث والدراسات السابقة التي أجريت داخل المدينة وكذلك التقارير الصادرة كتقرير الجرد السنوي الخاصة بالبلدية أو (ما يعرف بالشعبية) إضافة إلى بعض من نتائج التعدادات السكانية والبيانات الخاصة بالسكان من مدينة زليتن. ومن النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث هنالك زيادة واضحة في عدد سكان المدينة خلال السنوات السابقة هذه الزيادة لم تواكبها تطورات واضحة في قطاعات الخدمات في المدينة نتيجة للعديد من العوامل التي منها الظروف الاقتصادية، والسياسية التي مرت بها البلاد إضافة إلى الظروف التنظيمية والإدارية، كما كشف البحث عن بعض الضغوطات على القطاعات الخدمية داخل المدينة نتيجة لزيادة السكانية الأمر الذي يستوجب على هذه القطاعات مواكبة هذه الزيادة لتقديم خدمات أفضل لسكان، كما بين البحث أن هنالك ضغوطات يتعرض لها قطاع الخدمات التعليمية بالمدينة نتيجة لزيادة عدد الطلاب مقارنة بنقص أو عدم موائمة عدد المدارس مقارنة بعدد السكان والطلاب بالمدينة، وكشف البحث عن ضعف في قطاع الخدمات الصحية نتيجة للارتفاع الكبير في عدد السكان حيث لا يوجد في المدينة سوى 6 مستشفيات وما يقرب من 182 سرير و4 غرف عمليات فقط بالمدينة قيد العمل وهذا ما يضع ضغوطات كبيرة على قطاع الخدمات الصحية بالمدينة. يوصي الباحث العمل على استراتيجية مناسبة تتمشى مع الموقع الجغرافي والمكاني للمدينة وما يتلاءم مع مكونات المدينة ومواردها الطبيعية إضافة إلى إيجاد الحلول المناسبة لتوفير الخدمات والمرافق الخدمية للأعداد المتزايدة من السكان بحيث تتناسب مع كافة مكونات المجتمع.
Given the importance of population growth and its relationship to many variables, the researcher tried in this research to show the impact of population growth on some service sectors within the city of Zliten, and the aim of this research was to know population growth rates towards increase or decrease, as well as trying to identify the impact of these changes The population growth rates within the city at the level of services provided during the time period covered by the research, and the research started from the hypothesis that population growth has an impact on the rate of services needed by the population within the city in order to keep pace with changes in the rate of population growth within the city, and the researcher mainly adopted On the descriptive analytical approach by relying on ready-made data from government agencies and sectors within the municipality from the civil registry, the education sector and the health sector, and the research relied on some sources and references related to the topic of research, such as some previous research and studies conducted within the city, as well as reports issued as the annual special inventory report In the municipality or (what is known as the popular) in addition to some of the results of the population censuses and data on the population of the city Zliten. Among the findings of the researcher, there is a clear increase in the population of the city during the previous years. This increase was not accompanied by clear developments in the service sectors in the city as a result of many factors, including the economic and political conditions that the country experienced in addition to the organizational and administrative conditions, as the research revealed. About some pressures on the service sectors within the city as a result of the population increase, which requires these sectors to keep pace with this increase to provide better services to the residents. The number of schools compared to the number of residents and students in the city, and the research revealed a weakness in the health services sector as a result of the large increase in the population, as there are only 6 hospitals in the city and approximately 182 beds and only 4 operating rooms in the city are under work, and this puts pressures The health services sector in the city. The researcher recommends working on an appropriate strategy in line with the geographical and spatial location of the city and what is compatible with the components of the city and its natural resources, in addition to finding appropriate solutions to provide services and service facilities for the increasing numbers of the population to suit all components of society.
