المستخلص: يعد تأثر الباحثين المستشرقين بالمناهج اللغوية الحديثة "اللسانيات" سببا رئيسا في اختلاف الدراستين: العربية التقليدية والحديثة الغربية من ناحية الموضوعات، وطريقة التحليل، ومستوى التركيز، وهو ما يعد نتيجة طبيعية لاختلاف أهداف الدراستين لاختلاف العوامل التي أفرزت كلا منهما. ومحور هذا البحث هو فصل (الأصوات) من كتاب: "العربية الفصحى دراسة في البناء اللغوي "للدكتور هنري فليش. ويعرف هذا الكتاب بتركيزه على الخطاطات العامة للغة العربية، إلا أن أهميته الكبيرة تكمن في بنائه على أسس لسانية واضحة، وتركيزه على ما يخص نظام اللغة العربية بمستوياته المختلفة، وبتصوراته التي لا تركن إلى نظرة خاصة تنطلق من إطار لغة واحدة مفردة فقط، إنما ترفدها معرفة واسعة باللغات السامية على وجه العموم، فضلا عن معرفة المؤلف بنظام اللغات الأوربية، وإدراكه للفارق الواضح بين كل من العائلتين وأصل الاختلاف بينهما. وهو ما جعل منهجه يتسم بالمقارنة، وإبراز قضايا الاتفاق والاختلاف بين الأنظمة اللغوية، فضلا عن الإشارة إلى ما له علاقة بقضايا التطور اللغوي. وربما عززت الأبحاث الحديثة للغة بعض آراء اللغويين العرب القدماء وأكدت صحتها، وربما دارت رياح البحث بخلاف ذلك، وربما جاءت بموضوعات وحقائق جديدة كلية. وبحث هذه التفاصيل ورصد مواطن التباين والاختلاف بينها هو أبرز ما يركز على دراسته هذا البحث.

The orientalist researchers influence on the modern linguistic curricula “linguistics” is considered a major reason for the difference between the two studies: traditional Arabic and modern Western in terms of topics, method of analysis, and level of focus. This is a natural result of the different objectives of the two studies due to the different factors that resulted in both of them. The focus of this research is on the chapter on (Voices) of the book: “Classical Arabic: A Study in the Linguistic Structure of Dr. Henry Fleisch. This book is known for its focus on the general calligraphies of the Arabic language, but its great importance lies in its construction on clear linguistic foundations, and its focus on what is related to the language system.” Arabic at its different levels, and his perceptions that do not depend on a special view that stems from the framework of one single language only, but is supplemented by a wide knowledge of Semitic languages in general, in addition to the author’s knowledge of the European language system, and his awareness of the clear difference between each of the two, which continued the difference between them. He made his approach characterized by comparison, highlighting the issues of agreement and disagreement between linguistic systems, as well as referring to what is related to the issues of linguistic development. Perhaps recent studies of the language have reinforced some of the opinions of the ancient Arab linguists and confirmed their validity, and perhaps the winds of research swirled otherwise, and perhaps it came with completely new topics and facts. Examining these details and observing the differences and differences between them is the main focus of this research study.
