المستخلص: In This article we present the results of a research that focuses on the processes of attribution of first names in the context of social and cultural changes in Batna. To do this, we will first place ourselves at the heart of its socio-cultural changes; the objective is to show through concrete examples that the re-Islamization is the most remarkable aspect of the current evolution of Algerian society. These changes are not without consequences on the act of first name, which we questioned through a field survey by questionnaire within those involved in this act.

Dans cet article nous présentons les résultats d’une recherche qui porte sur les procédés d’attribution de prénoms en contexte de mutations sociales et culturelles à Batna. Pour se faire, nous nous placerons, tout d’abord au coeur de ses mutations socioculturelles, l’objectif étant de montrer à travers des exemples concrets que la réislamisation est l'aspect le plus remarquable de l'évolution actuelle de la société algérienne. Ces mutations ne sont pas sans conséquences sur l’acte de prénomination que nous avons interrogé via une enquête de terrain par questionnaire auprès des acteurs de cet acte.
