|a الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على أشرف الأنبياء والمرسلين أبي القاسم محمد وعلى آله وصحبة المنتجبين. أما بعد. فيعد الشيخ ميثم التمار من أهم وجهاء الأمة الإسلامية ومن أنصار الإمام علي (رضي الله عنه) إلا أنه لم يعرف لما سمي بالتمار وعبر هذا البحث حاولنا تسليط الضوء على هذه الآراء وحاولنا التوصل إلى الرأي الصائب من هذه الآراء ثم بيان نسبه المختلف فيه هل هو أعجمي أم أسدي، ثم بيان تفاصيل حياته وجهاده ووفاته.
