520		\|b In this article, Abdelhamid Bouraio reviews the proceedings of a symposium organized by The National Center for Research in Prehistory, Anthropology and History, in June in 1979. In this symposium the theme of the cultural oral heritage was discussed by a number of researchers from this center, and from other foreign centers. The theme attracted the attention of the researchers, and those in the higher education, to address the official institutions and urge them to deal with the oral culture as a basic element of the national culture in both its form and content.
