المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث التعريف بالشيخ العلامة محمد سلطان المعصومي؛ أحد أعلام السلفية المهاجرين الذي حطوا رحالهم في مكة المكرمة مع بدايات توحيد هذه البلاد المباركة على يد الملك عبد العزيز -رحمه الله-، فكان من المشاركين في النهضة العلمية التي قامت على يد المؤسس، ونال مكانة خاصة عنده، وأمر بطبع عدد من مؤلفاته؛ ومنها تفسيره: "أوضح البرهان في تفسير أم القرآن". ويهدف البحث إلى التعرف على شخصية الشيخ المعصومي وعلى مؤلفاته في التفسير، مع تسليط الضوء على أبرز معالم منهجه في التفسير وأهم المآخذ عليه، وفق المنهج الاستقرائي والوصفي والتحليلي. ومن نتائج البحث: أن الشيخ المعصومي عالم موسوعي دافع من خلال مؤلفاته عن التوحيد وعن دعوة الإمام المجدد الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب، واجتهد في محاربة البدع والخرافات والطرق الصوفية المنحرفة، واعتنى في تفسيره "أوضح البرهان" بمصادر التفسير الصحيحة، وبمسائل علوم القرآن، وبأقوال المفسرين في معنى الآية، واهتم بربط التفسير بالواقع. ومع مكانة هذا التفسير في عصره وأهميته إلا أنه يعد اليوم من التفاسير المغمورة التي لا يعرفها كثير من المتخصصين، فكان من أهم توصيات البحث: إبراز هذا التفسير بتحقيقه وإعادة نشره، والدراسة الموسعة فنهجه في التفسير والتدبر.

This research deals with the definition of sheikh Muhammad sultan Al-masoumi; one of the prominent salafi immigrants who landed in makkah Al-mukarramah at the beginning of unification of this blessed country at the hands of the king abdul aziz –may god have mercy on him- was one of the participants in the scientific renaissance that took place at the hands of the founder, lncluding his interpretation: "Aodh al-borhan in the interpretation of mother of Al-Qur'an". The research aims to identify the personality of sheikh Al-masomi and his books on interpretation, highlighting the most prominent features of his approach to interpretation and the most important drawbacks to it, according to the descriptive analytical approach. One of the results of the research: that sheikh Al-masoumi, an encyclopedic scholar, defended through his books on monotheism and the call of the renewed imam sheikh Muhammad bin abd Al-wahhab, and worked hard to fight heresies, superstitions and deviant sufi methods, and took care in his interpretation "the clearest proof" of the correct sources of interpretation, issues of the sciences of the Qur'an, and the sayings of interpreters in the meaning of the verse, and interested in linking interpretation of reality. Despite the status and importance of this interpretation in its time, it is considered today as one of the submerged interpretations that many specialists do not know, One of the most important recommendations of the research: highlighting this interpretation by achieving it and republishing it, and the extensive study of its approach to interpretation and reflection.
