المستخلص: اعتنى هذا البحث بالحديث عن الإمام سلمة بن مسلم العماني الذي عاش في القرن الخامس الهجري على الراجح، وعن كتابه (الإبانة في اللغة العربية)، وبيان منهجه في عرض القراءات وتوجيهها في هذا الكتاب، ومن نتائج هذه الدراسة غزارة القراءات التي ذكرت في كتاب (الإبانة في اللغة العربية)، المتواترة والشاذة، وأنها احتلت المرتبة الثالثة من حيث الكم بالاحتجاج بها بعد القرآن الكريم والشعر؛ حيث كثر استشهاد المؤلف بالقراءات فقد ذكرها في كتابه فيما يربو على مائة وستين موضعا. ولم يعن كثيرا بنسبة القراءات لأصحابها. وضبط القراءات بأساليب مختلفة. ولم يصرح المؤلف عن مصادره في ذكر القراءات، لكن المتتبع لكلامه يجد أنه اعتمد كثيرا على أبي بكر الأنباري في كتابه "الزاهر"، كما نقل عنه من كتاب إيضاح الوقف والابتداء، ونقل أيضا عن الخليل في كتابه العين، وعن الفراء في معانيه، وعن معاني الزجاج، وعن ابن خالويه في إعراب ثلاثين سورة، وغيرهم. ومن النتائج أيضا أن كثيرا من هذه القراءات قد وجهت، إما بتوجيه سلمة العماني لها مباشرة، أو قهم توجيهها من خلال السياق الذي ذكرت فيه. ومن المآخذ على المؤلف أنه نسب قراءات إلى غير أصحابها، وذكر قراءات غير موجودة، ولم يميز بين المتواتر منها والشاذ. وتبين للباحث أن ضبط المحققين للقراءات الواردة في الكتاب به قصور في مواضع كثيرة، وقد أورد الباحث أمثلة على وجود السقط والخطأ في النصوص التي وردت فيها القراءات وفي غيرها. وأوصى البحث بضرورة إعادة تحقيق الكتاب مرة أخرى. واتخذ الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، ويتطلب ذلك الاستقراء في تتبع القراءات الواردة في الكتاب.

This research took care of talking about Imam Salamah bin Muslim Omani, who lived in the fifth century AH on the most correct, and his book (Al-lbanah in the Arabic language), and the statement of his approach to the presentation of readings and directed in this book, and the results of this study are the abundance of readings that were mentioned in the book (Al- Ibanah in the Arabic language), frequent and anomalous, and that it ranked third in terms of quantity by invoking it after the Holy Qur'an and poetry; Ali one hundred and sixty places. He did not care much about the percentage of readings for their owners. And adjust the readings in different ways. The author did not disclose his sources in mentioning the readings, but the follower of his words finds that he relied a lot on Abu Bakr al-Anbari in his book «AI-Zahir», as quoted from the book Clarifying the Endowment and the Beginning, and also quoted from Al—Khalil in his book Al-Ain, and about fur in its meanings, and about the meanings of glass, and from Ibn Khalawayh in the expression of thirty surahs, and others. It is also a result that many of these readings were directed, either by Salama al-Omani directly or by understanding their direction through the context in which they were mentioned. One of the shortcomings of the author is that he attributed readings to non-authors, mentioned readings that do not exist, and did not distinguish between frequent and abnormal ones. The researcher found that the investigators' control of the readings contained in the book has shortcomings in many places, and the researcher has cited examples of the existence of omissions and errors in the texts in which the readings were contained and in others. The research recommended that the book should be re-investigated. The researcher took the descriptive analytical approach, and this requires induction in tracking the readings contained in the book.
