المستخلص: The knowledge-based economy (KBE) is part of a long movement of transformation of world economies. Indeed, the growing importance of the knowledge economy also known as the knowledge-based economy (EFC) in the process of growth and development of countries is well established. Within the framework of our paper, we will try to highlight two central objectives: On the one hand to highlight that the EFC constitutes the principal key of entry in the world of the economic and social development, on the other hand to put in relief that the emergence of the EFC in Algeria requires the implementation of fundamental levers, among others: developing the culture of research, setting the necessary milestones for efficient relations between the university and the company, valuing the resources and put in place the appropriate tools for good governance.

L’économie fondée sur la connaissance (EFC) se situe dans un long mouvement de transformation des économies mondiales. En effet, l’importance croissante de l’économie du savoir connue également sous le nom d’économie fondée sur la connaissance (EFC) dans le processus de croissance et le développement des pays n’est plus à démontrer. Dans le cadre de notre papier, nous tenterons de mettre en exergue deux objectifs centraux: D’une part mettre en lumière que l’EFC constitue la principale clé d’entrée dans le monde du développement économique et social, d’autre part mettre en relief que l’émergence de l’EFC en Algérie nécessite de mettre en oeuvre des leviers fondamentaux, entre autres: développer la culture de la recherche, mettre les jalons nécessaires pour des relations efficientes entre l’université et l’entreprise, valoriser les ressources humaines et mettre en place les outils adéquats pour une bonne gouvernance.
