المستخلص: لا شك أن لكل شعب ثقافة يعتز بها ويعتد ويباهي بها الآخرين ويفتخر أيا كانت نظرة أولئك لثقافته وموروثه الثقافي. فكان للكتاب المطبوع التأثير العظيم في نشر ثقافة التواصل الثقافي بين شعبي وادي النيل منذ بداية القرن العشرين، فمن خلاله تعرف كلاهما بتفاوت في درجة التعرف على الآخر، فتوثقت الصلات الثقافية وقويت العلاقات الأخوية بينهما. تمثل الهدف من الدراسة في إبراز الدور الذي لعبه الكتاب المطبوع في نشر ثقافة التواصل الثقافي بين مصر والسودان، إعطاء صورة متكاملة لما كان عليه التواصل الثقافي بين الشعبين منذ الثلاثينيات والأربعينيات من القرن العشرين، تسليط الضوء على دور الكتاب المطبوع في الإسهام في نشر ثقافة التواصل الحضاري بين شعبي وادي النيل، واستعراض آراء بعض الكتاب من البلدين عن التواصل الحضاري الثقافي وإبرازا إسهام الكتاب في التواصل الحضاري بين شعبي وادي النيل من خلال تقديم نماذج مختارة لكتب وكتاب مصريين وسودانيين. اتبعت في أعداد البحث منهج البحث التاريخي والتحليل والمقارنة في معالجة ما توفر من معلومات عن الموضوع في بعض المراجع الورقية وما توفر في الشبكة العنكبوتية. توصلت إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها أن الكتاب المطبوع لعب أدوارا حاسمة في تقوية أواصر العلاقة الأخوية بين الشعبين الشقيقين من خلال تقوية قنوات التواصل الثقافي وأن الكتاب المصري أقرب إلى مزاج القارئ وذوقه وطبعه لأنه استطاع أن يعبر بوضوح عن كثير من الحاجات الثقافية التي يطلبها القارئ أو المتلقي السوداني وأن الكتب السودانية الموجودة بالمكتبات المصرية لا يمكن مقارنتها من حيث عددها بعدد أية كتب مصرية موجودة في بضعة رفوف مكتبة من المكتبات السودانية أو مكتبة منزلية صغيرة.

There is no doubt that every nation has a culture that they cherish and brag about and are proud of, regardless of their view of their culture and civilizational heritage. The printed book had a great influence in spreading the culture of cultural communication between the peoples of the Nile Valley since the beginning of the twentieth century. Through it, both of them got acquainted with the difference in the degree of knowledge of the other, and the brotherly relations between them were strengthened. Research methodology represented by historical research methodology, analysis and comparison, reliance on a availability information about the subject in some references and on the Internet. The most important results: the printed book played decisive roles in strengthening the fraternal relationship between the two brotherly nations by strengthening the channels of cultural communication, the Egyptian book is closer to the reader’s mood, taste, and temperament; because he was able to clearly express many of the cultural needs required by the Sudanese reader or recipient, the Sudanese books found in Egyptian libraries cannot be compared in terms of their number with the number of any Egyptian books found on a few shelves in a Sudanese library or a small home library
