المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف على الآثار الاجتماعية المترتبة على تأخر سن الزواج لدى الشباب الفلسطيني في المحافظات الجنوبية بفلسطين، وفي ضوء طبيعة الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وطبقت استبانة على عينة عشوائية بسيطة بلغت (3009 متأخرا عن سن الزواج. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تقدير المتأخرين عن سن الزواج للآثار الاجتماعية المترتبة على تأخر سن زواجهم من وجهة نظرهم قد جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، وبمتوسط قدره (3.47)، وبنسبة مئوية (69.4%)، وحصل محور العلاقات الأسرية على المرتبة الأولى في الآثار الاجتماعية، ثم يليه محور المكانة الأسرية، ثم العلاقات الاجتماعية، والتوافق الاجتماعي، والعزلة الاجتماعية، وفي المرتبة الأخيرة المشاركة الاجتماعية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة للآثار الاجتماعية الناتجة عن تأخر سن الزواج لدى الشباب الفلسطيني في المحافظات الجنوبية بفلسطين من وجهة نظرهم تعزى لمتغيرات النوع لصالح الإناث، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير العمر. وأوصت الدراسة بتوعية الشباب الفلسطيني بدور الزواج في تحقيق الاستقرار، والراحة النفسية لديهم، ومضار وسلبيات التأخر عن سن الزواج، وأن تضع الدولة استراتيجيات وإجراءات لتشجيع الشباب الفلسطيني على الزواج.

The study aimed to identify the social effects of the delay in the age of marriage among Palestinian youth in the southern governorates of Palestine, and in light of the nature of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and applied a questionnaire to a simple random sample of (300) late for the age of marriage. The study found that the degree of appreciation of those who are late for the age of marriage for the social effects of the late marriage age from their point of view came to a large degree, with an average of 3.47, and a percentage (69.4%), and the family relations axis ranked first in the social effects. Then followed by the axis of family status, then social relations, social harmony, social isolation, and in the last place social participation, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the study sample members of the social effects resulting from the delay in the age of marriage among Palestinian youth in the southern governorates of Palestine from their point of view. It is attributed to the gender variables in favor of females, and there are no statistically significant differences due to the age variable.The study recommended educating Palestinian youth about the role of marriage in achieving stability and psychological comfort for them, and the disadvantages of delaying the age of marriage, and that the state develop strategies and procedures to encourage Palestinian youth to marry.
