المستخلص: تناول البحث التعريف بمصطلحات: التمسك، والملف، والفهم، والمصطلحات ذات الصلة بالفهم وهي: الفقه والتفسير، وتعريف النص، والنص الشرعي، والأثر، والعقيدة، وبيان معنى فهم السلف للنص الشرعي، وحجية فهم السلف للنص الشرعي، والأدلة على حجية فهم السلف للنص الشرعي، وبيان أهمية فهم السلف للنصوص الشرعية ودوره في فهم العقيدة وصحة المعتقد، كما تناول البحث ما يترتب على فهم السلف للنص الشرعي من آثار حميدة منها: سلامة مصدر التلقي، والاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة، وسلامة الفهم وإصابة الحق علما وعملا، والتمسك بالعقيدة الصحيحة، والوسطية والاستقامة في الدين، وتوحيد كلمة المسلمين والبعد عن التفرق والاختلاف، والبعد عن الابتداع في الدين، والعدل والإنصاف، ومحبة السنة وأهلها وبغض البدعة وأهلها. كما تناول البحث خطورة مخالفة فهم السلف للنصوص الشرعية، وما يترتب عليها من انحراف في فهم العقيدة وفساد في المعتقد، وما يتبع ذلك من آثار سيئة وغير حميدة تعود على العقيدة وعلى الفرد والمجتمع منها: الانحراف في منهج التلقي والاستدلال في العقيدة، والحيرة والشك وعدم اليقين، ورد المحكم واتباع المتشابه من النصوص الشرعية، وبقاء وانتشار مذاهب أهل البدع، والغلو في الدين، وتغيير الدين وتبديله، ووقوع الفرقة والاختلاف بين المسلمين، والقدح في الشريعة، وهدم الإسلام والتنفير منه، واتباع الهوى، والعداء للسلة وأهلها، وخفاء الملة وإماتتها.

The research dealt with the definition of the terms: adherence, predecessor, understanding, and terms related to understanding, namely: jurisprudence and interpretation, definition of the text, the legal text, impact, doctrine, and an explanation of the meaning of the understanding of the predecessors of the legal text, the authoritative understanding of the predecessors of the legal text, and evidence of the authoritative understanding of the predecessors of the legal text And clarifying the importance of the understanding of the predecessors of the legal texts and its role in understanding the creed and the validity of the belief. In religion, unifying the word of Muslims, keeping away from division and disagreement, staying away from innovation in religion, justice and fairness, loving the Sunnah and its people, and hating heresy and its people. The research also dealt with the seriousness of violating the understanding of the predecessors of the legal texts, and the consequent deviation in the understanding of the creed and corruption in the belief, and the negative and innocuous effects that follow on the creed and on the individual and society, including: deviation in the approach to receiving and inference in belief, confusion, doubt and uncertainty Refuting al-Hakam and following the similar from the legal texts, the survival and spread of the doctrines of the people of innovation, exaggeration in religion, changing and substituting religion, the occurrence of division and disagreement among Muslims, slander in the Sharia, the demolition of Islam and alienation from it, following whims, hostility to the Sunnah and its people, and the concealment and death of the Sunnah.
