المستخلص: تعد معرفة الإمام من القضايا التي لطالما شهدت التفريط والمغالاة، وقد حاول البعض بالحط من شأنها على أنها اختلاف في الذوق أو اختلاف تاريخي. وقد أضل فئة أخرى بالمبالغة في حق الإمام ومكانته وبهذا قد سببوا إضلال الآخرين. إن معرفة الإمام ولزوم الإتباع منه في مذهب الشيعة يلعب دورا هاما في التزام المرء بهذا المذهب. ولقد اهتم علماء الشيعة بهذا المعتقد في غابر الأزمان. وعلى الرغم من أهمية هذا الموضوع قد وقعت الشيعة وأصحابها في الريبة مرارا وتكرارا على مدى التاريخ والزمان وتورطوا بآثارها السلبية. نسعى في هذا البحث إلى معالجة معوقات معرفة الإمام عند الشيعة في صدر الإسلام ودراسة أسبابها. إن الشيعة في صدر الإسلام قد وقعوا في الغلو وقد خالفوا أوامر الأئمة لأسباب مها: عدم معرفة ظروف الإمام، وعدم الوعي من المفسدة المترتبة على مخالفة أمر الإمام، والدوافع المادية، والضعف في معرفة التوحيد، والتحليل الخاطئ لفضائل الأئمة رضي الله عنهم وشبهات معارضي الإمامة. وجدير بالذكر أن لم يكن الأمر كذلك أن جميع الشيعة أخطأوا في معرفة الإمام في فترة من التاريخ بل قد أخطأ البعض منهم. وبالنظر إلى أن المعارضين لمكتب أهل البيت رضي الله عنهم وخاصة الوهابية بسبب هذه المعوقات الطفيفة يحاولون في الآونة الأخيرة أن يجعلوا العقيدة بالإمامة من مختلقات العلماء المتأخرين، فمن الضروري دراسة هذه القضية بعناية ويجب إثبات عدم تأثير هذه المعوقات على مبدأ إمامة الأئمة الإثنى عشر.

The knowledge of the imam is one of the issues that have always witnessed negligence and exaggeration, and some have tried to degrade it as a difference in taste or a historical difference. He misled another group by exaggerating the right and position of the imam, and thus they caused others to mislead. The knowledge of the imam and the obligation to follow him in the Shia school of thought plays an important role in one's commitment to this school of thought. Shiite scholars have been interested in this belief since ancient times. Despite the importance of this topic, the Shiites and their companions have repeatedly fallen into suspicion throughout history and time and have been implicated in its negative effects. In this research, we seek to address the obstacles to knowing the Imam among Shiites at the beginning of Islam and to study their causes. The Shiites in the early days of Islam fell into extremism and violated the orders of the imams for reasons including: lack of knowledge of the circumstances of the imam, lack of awareness of the harm resulting from violating the order of the imam, material motives, weakness in the knowledge of monotheism, wrong analysis of the virtues of the imams, peace be upon them, and the suspicions of the opponents of the imam. It should be noted that it was not the case that all the Shiites made a mistake in knowing the imam at some point in history, rather some of them made a mistake. In view of the fact that the opponents of the office of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and especially the Wahhabis, due to these minor obstacles, have recently tried to make the doctrine of the Imamate a fabrication of the later scholars, it is necessary to study this issue carefully and it must be proven that these obstacles do not affect the principle of the Imamate of the twelve imams.
