المستخلص: تناول البحث أدب الطريق وخيار الرفيق. هدف البحث إلى بيان معاني الطريق المادية والمعنوية ودورها في إرساء وتطور البشرية، ورفد الحياة الإنسانية بمعالم الحضارة، وكنوز الثقافة، وأصول التطور، ومعاني الرقي، وسبل الترابط، والوصول إلى وسائط وثمرات العلوم والمعارف، وتوثيق آداب الأمم السابقة. كمنت أهمية البحث في الدور المتنامي لمفهوم الطريق وتطوره المطرد عبر العصور المختلفة في تاريخ البشرية، وما لقيته الطرق من اهتمام مادي ومعنوي في أوساط طبقات الناس، وما نقلته كتب العلوم من جواهر وأصول تلك المعاني للفظ الطريق وما لقيه من توظيف في أوساط الأدباء من الكتاب والشعراء. انتهج البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. توصل البحث لعدد من النتائج؛ أهمها: أدب الطريق من أسس المجتمع المثالي وعنوان الحضارة والتمدن والعمران والثقافة والتقدم، وعماد الحياة الإنسانية والتنمية البشرية وإعمار الأرض، والبناء الاجتماعي وتنظيم وإدارة وحكم الدولة. ورد لفظ الطريق في مباحث البيان في التشبيه والاستعارة والكناية والتورية. حق الطريق عنوان الإسلام والأمن والسلام، وغض البصر وكف الأذى ورد السلام، والأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر، وبناء المجتمع الإنساني والكرامة، وحقوق الإنسان، والأخلاق الحسنة. أوصى البحث بالوقوف على معاني الطريق المعنوية والمادية في الشعر العربي، وبالوقوف على المعاني المعنوية للطريق في القرآن والسنة.

The research dealt with road literature and companion choice. The aim of the research is to clarify the meanings of the material and moral path and its role in establishing and developing humanity, and providing human life with the landmarks of civilization, the treasures of culture, the origins of development, the meanings of advancement, the means of interdependence, access to the means and fruits of science and knowledge, and the documentation of the literatures of previous nations. The importance of the research lies in the growing role of the concept of the road and its steady development through different ages in human history, and the material and moral interest that roads received among classes of people, and what science books conveyed from the essences and origins of those meanings of the term road and what it received from the employment among writers and poets among writers and poets. . The research adopted the descriptive analytical method. The research reached a number of results; The most important of them: the literature of the road is one of the foundations of the ideal society and the title of civilization, urbanization, urbanization, culture and progress, the mainstay of human life, human development, reconstruction of the land, social construction, organization, management and governance of the state. The term “way” was mentioned in the investigations of the statement in simile, metaphor, metonymy, and pun. The right of way is the epitome of Islam, security and peace, lowering the gaze, refraining from harm, restoring peace, enjoining good and forbidding evil, building a human society and dignity, human rights, and good morals. The research recommended to find out the moral and material meanings of the path in Arabic poetry, and to find out the moral meanings of the path in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
