|a ترتقي الشعوب والأمم بما لديها من تراث علمي زاخر، وكان لمؤرخينا المسلمين الفضل في حفظ التراث العربي الإسلامي في مختلف صنوف العلم من خلال إيرادها في كتبهم كموارد اعتمدوا عليها في كتابة مؤلفاتهم أو من خلال ترجمة أصحاب تلك المؤلفات فذكروا مؤلفاتهم، بل تعدى بعضهم ذلك إلى تقييم تلك المؤلفات من وجهه نظره الشخصية أو من خلال إيراد أقوال الآخرين بشأن تلك المؤلفات، مما زاد من أهمية تلك الكتب لكونها خضعت للتقييم من قبل مؤلفين معاصرين أو قريبين من عصر تأليفها، ومن خلال اطلاعنا على كتاب ابن خلكان (ت 681ه/ 1282م) وفيات الأعيان وأنباء أبناء الزمان" اتضح لنا مدى اهتمامه بهذا الجانب إذ كان يعطي تقييما للكتب التي قراها ويوضح لنا مدى نفعها ويذكر بشكل مختصر منهج مؤلفها ويذكر الكتب التي الفت على غرارها، وهذا وان دل على شيء فيدل على سعة اطلاع ابن خلكان فالتعمق في قراءة الكتب وبيان قيمتها يعد من أهم واجبات المؤرخ، لذا من الضروري أن نتعرف على موقف المؤرخين من النتاج العلمي للمؤلفين الذين ترجموا لهم وكيف ميزوا الجيد عن غيره منها، وما هي الانتقادات التي وجهوها للمؤلفين ومؤلفاتهم؟ ضم البحث ثلاثة محاور تناول الأول سيرة ابن خلكان وثانيا منهجه بشكل مختصر ثالثا: منهجه في تقييم الكتب ومنها الكتب الفريد والنفيسة وحجم الكتاب ومدى فائدته والكتب التي الفت على غرار كتب أخرى.
|b Nations and people evolve for owning copious scientific heritage; of them the arab historians have many publications in different fields; and many of them have been mentioned in the translation books; as so the authors of these books have kept for us the productions of the characters that have translated them. They not only were satisfied to mention them; they also had a major role in evaluating it. Which increased the significance of these books; being subjected to evaluation by contemporary authors’ or by people who are living in the same age of its publication. Through our reading of Ibn Kalllikan's book (681 Ah-1282 Ad)., it has been clear for us how much he was interested in this part ; for he was evaluating the books that he had read: and clarified for us how much they were beneficial: and he mentions briefly the method of his publication ; and the books which have been produced in resemblance of his book; that proves for us how much ibn kallikhan was very erudite person, his deepening in reading books and how clarifying books value, is considered one or the most crucial duties of the author: thus it is necessary that we have to find out the historians stand about the scientific productions and the authors that they have translated for them ; and how they distinguished the good from bad, as well as what criticism they aimed towards the authors and their publications. The research included four chapters, the first one dealt with Ibn Kallikhan's biography and his method in abbreviation, the second one dealt with his evaluation to the religious books, as for the third one dealt with his assessment to language and literature books, however the fourth one dealt with his assessment to history books in addition to his assessment of other books.
