المستخلص: تتميز رواية "التلصص" بسرد راويها، إذ يصف كل الأحداث، وكل التفاصيل الدقيقة، في الحياة اليومية للمجتمع المصري. كما يصف الظروف السياسية، والاجتماعية، والاقتصادية، في العهد الملكي في مصر، وكذلك يصف حياة الناس وصفا دقيقا، ومعاناتهم مع التغيرات السياسية، وانعكاسها على حياتهم، فكان الطفل متلصصا على كل الفضاءات التي يتواجد فيها، وكان يسجل أحاديث والده مع رفاقه، وهو الطفل المرافق لوالده العجوز، وبسبب خوف الطفل من البقاء وحيدا، صار الأب يرافقه في كل مكان، ولم يكن الطفل وحده يتلصص، بل حتى والده مارس هذا الفعل أحيانا، ويرسم الراوي الصبي بما يحكيه مشاهد عديدة – في زمن الرواية – لأحوال الطبقة المتوسطة، في القاهرة، وكفاحها اليومي، وتكشف مشاهدات الصبي الكثير من مظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية واليومية، وطقوس الاحتفال بالمناسبات، وطقوس الطبقة الشعبية، في الخرافة، كالسحر، والشعوذة، وقد استغرق زمن الرواية عاما كاملا، من خلال أربعة فصول، يرسم خلالها الراوي الإطار العام للحياة المصرية في القاهرة، ولقد تميزت هذه الحقبة التاريخية بأحداث هامة مثل، قضية فلسطين، وحرب 1948م مع إسرائيل، ووجود الاحتلال الإنجليزي في مصر، وما تبعه من كوارث وتدخلات أجنبية، وقد اعتمدت في هذا البحث على عدة مناهج: منها المنهج التاريخي: الذي يعتمد على سرد الأحداث، وعرض القضايا الاجتماعية في ذلك العصر، والمنهج النفسي في دراسة شخصيات الرواية، وأنماطها، وما يدور في نفسها، وكذلك المنهج الفني التحليلي في دراسة الشكل الروائي، وقد أظهرت، مستويات الواقعية، في رواية التلصص، الأمراض المجتمعية، والواقع بعيدا عن المثالية، وجاءت هذه النظرة الواقعية، على أساس تدخل عوامل التطور المختلفة، في كافة مستويات الحياة.

The novel "The Voyeur" is distinguished by its narrator's narration, as he describes all the events, and all the minute details, in the daily life of Egyptian society. It also describes the political, social, and economic conditions during the monarchy in Egypt. It also accurately describes people's lives, their suffering with political changes, and their impact on their lives. The child was a voyeur on all the spaces in which he was, and he was recording his father's conversations with his companions. He is the child accompanying his old father, and because of the child's fear of being alone, the father accompanies him everywhere ’The child was not alone in voyeurism, but even his father practiced this act sometimes, and the narrator draws the boy with what he tells of many scenes- at the time of the novel- of the conditions of the middle class, in Cairo, and their daily struggle ’The boy's observations reveal many aspects of social and daily life, the rituals of celebrating occasions, and the rituals of the popular class, in superstition, such as magic and sorcery. The novel took a whole year, through four chapters, during which the narrator draws the general framework of Egyptian life in Cairo. This historical era was marked by important events such as the Palestine issue, the 1948 AD war with Israel, the presence of the British occupation in Egypt, and the subsequent disasters and foreign interventions ’In this research, I relied on several approaches, including the historical approach, which relies on narrating events and presenting social issues in that era, and the psychological approach in studying the characters of the novel, their patterns, and what goes on within themselves, as well as the technical and analytical approach in studying the novel form. It showed, in the voyeuristic novel, the levels of realism, societal diseases, and reality far from idealism, and this realistic view came, on the basis of the intervention of various development factors, in all levels of life.
