المستخلص: تعد الحياة الاقتصادية في أي مجتمع إنساني من أكثر المظاهر تأثرا بالوضع السياسي السائد في ذلك المجتمع، كما أنها تعد أشد الجوانب انعكاسا على ما يحدث في تلك المجتمعات من تغييرات سياسية وآثار ناتجة من تطور طبيعة المنهج المتبع في نظام الحكم. يعد العصر المملوكي خير أنموذجا تجسدت به تلك المظاهر لما يمثله من حقبة زمنية مهمة في تاريخ مصر والشام بشكل خاص والتاريخ الإسلامي أجمع، وبما أن السلطان الناصر محمد بن قلاوون يعد من أبرز السلاطين الذين تولوا عرش سلطنة المماليك البحرية؛ نتيجة لطول مدة حكمة وشخصيته الفذة، فقد استقرت في عهده الحياة السياسية والاقتصادية مما أنعكس أثارها بشكل واضح على الحياة العامة للسكان، بقيامه بإصلاحات شاملة، وكان أهمها الضرائب لكونه مرتبط بالسكان المحليين من فلاحين، وحرفيين، وتجار وحتي من أهل الذمة الذين كانوا يعيشون في الأراضي المملوكية، لهذ جاء البحث بعنوان (سياسة السلطان المملوكي الناصر محمد بن قلاوون في إصلاح الضرائب) وقد ركزت الدراسة على الضرائب التي قام بإلغائها لبيان كثرتها ومدى تأثيرها على الحياة العامة. واقتضت طبيعة البحث تقسيمه إلى ثلاثة مباحث فضلا عن الملخص والخاتمة جاء المبحث الأول عن شخصية السلطان الناصر، وتطرق المبحث الثاني عن الضرائب في العصر المملوكي، أما المبحث الثالث فقد تناول الضرائب في عهد السلطان الناصر، وخاتمة ذكر فيها أبرز النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث.

Economic life in any human society is one of the aspects most affected by the prevailing political situation in that society, and it is the most reflective aspect of the political changes that occur in those societies and the effects resulting from the evolution of the nature of the approach followed in the system of government. The Mamluk era is the best example in which these manifestations were embodied because it represented an important time period in the history of Egypt and the Levant in particular and the Islamic history as a whole, and since Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad bin Qalawun is one of the most prominent sultans who assumed the throne of the Mamluk Sultanate of Bahri; As a result of the long period of his wisdom and his unique personality, political and economic life stabilized during his reign, which clearly reflected its effects on the general life of the population, by carrying out comprehensive reforms, the most important of which were taxes because it was linked to the local population of farmers, craftsmen, merchants and even dhimmis who lived in the lands The Mamluk, that is why the research came under the title (The Policy of Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad bin Qalawun in Tax Reform. The nature of the research necessitated dividing it into three sections, in addition to the summary and conclusion. The first topic was about the personality of Sultan Al-Nasir. The second topic dealt with taxes in the Mamluk era. As for the third topic, it dealt with taxes during the reign of Sultan Al-Nasir, and a conclusion in which he mentioned the most prominent findings of the research.
