Disability has directly been mentioned in the 2030 agenda of the sustainable development goals whereby realizing the rights of persons with disabilities became a necessity. For this, Egypt is exerting efforts to realize their rights and issuing for them suitable laws and policies in order to enjoy with a quality of life. The research will focus on to what extent persons with disabilities have a quality of life in Egypt. First, the research starts with presenting an overview on persons with disabilities and then focusing on the concept of quality of life. Second, it is clarified the level of their enjoyment of the quality of life. And finally, it brought out noticeable conclusions and generated beneficial recommendations. The research concluded that despite the regulations, laws issued and efforts performed by concerned institutions, persons with disabilities are unfulfilled/unsatisfied the nine dimensions of the quality of life. |
